Dear Supergirl, not sure if you are always so "spirited" on a Sunday morning or you had too much to drink last night. I am pleased that Sweden won and I think your entry was really good. We are disappointed because il volo was by far the most popular act amongst the public and it should have received more votes than the final 297 I am sure you can agree on that point?

I'm mad and disappointed :(
I saw the live reaction and that was a sure winner entry. In fact, it is by televoting only.

I would've liked Russia to win. Every year it's just Sweden Sweden Sweden.
Call it EuroMelodifestival and it will be fine.

I suspect both RAI and EBU did their good dirty job behind the scenes. Like in 1997.

That said, the ratings were a record for RAI 2. It's the most watched Eurovision after our comeback and the second most watched Eurovision after our hosting in 1991. They won't withdraw.

Did RAI do a dirty job in San Remo too?? Pathetic loser!

Congratulations, Italy! Well deserved place, amazing performance! I'm so happy that my country gave you 12 points. :D

Voted for you twice. :p Yes, you should have won, but 3rd place with 292 points is really good, better than some winners did (Conchita/Emmelie/Ell&Nikki/Lena/Dima (...)).

And Il Volo gained a lot of new fans, so, well done. ;)

One more thing: Big lol at all of those people who were always here putting Il Volo down. They slayed, and everyone loved them! HA!

So Eurovision is all about pleasing the jury?

No, of course not. But it's a huge part of this. Sweden don't win when the juries and televotes are split in MF either. Both the latest victories is when they agreed with the winner.

This is why I like this system. You need to pick songs that is liked by both juries and televoting. Only televoting would be boring IMO. Some countries would be chanceless and some countries would do well because diaspora ect.

I hate jury voting! T() Italy won televoting with huge scores. My personal vote also went yesterday to Il Volo, and thanks God, they received 12 from Russia. The real winner!

Bla bla bla. Diaspora. Televoters cant vote down songs on purpose. Juries must go

Yes but juries aren't God, they can have their word as long as they don't mess up the rank.

I have always supported the 50/50 system. And I still do. But this year it makes me very sad to see that the juries put Italy low. I really don't understand why. I would have loved to see Italy win.

Why have the the juries if they aren't allowed to vote for the act they want?? Whooooo we need to vote what the televoters vote for ...the juries simple didn't like the italian song that much. Accept your defeat and move on.

They won my heart, and I'm not the only one xcheer

I'd like juries to be knocked out of the contest. I think they are the reason of the dicreasing rating of the contest

But the televoters can refuse to vote some countries they don't like or don't want to win, even if those countries have good entries. If anything it sounds as you want the jury votes to change that it can't be negative marks. But to remove then sounds as bad loser.

People will still complain about results if the juries goes. EBU simple can't make everyone happy.

How surprising. When the juries gave Italy the silver medal in 2011 no one complained

Bbbbbbut it was only about second place then it's ok. didn't you know that???

BTW, the juries gave Italy the victory in JESC 2014. I haven't anyone complain about that either. Italy is actually the last one that should complain about the results.

It is different. When televoters dont like song they will not vote for it, but it will still receive points from those who voted for the song. Juries can rank favorite 26th on purpose. Like did Lithuania this year with Russia and Iceland with Italy

Well, sure. Nobody really cares that much when a country finishes 2nd. In 2011, the televoting winner was the actual winner so the situations are not the same.
