I would like to congratulate Italy for the win of ESC 2015.. I respect only what the people voted.

So many bad losers in this thread. Italy and all other countries knew the rules a long time before the contest. They agreed with them since they participated in the contest. Now the rules are suddenly very bad. Isn't it very late to complain about it now? All countries knew it was televoting+juries that decided the winner.

Stop being such whiners and accept the juries didn't like Italy as much as the televoters liked Sweden.
Not to get too bitchy about this (I actually personally prefer a Sweden win to an Italy win), but weren't you the one going on and on and on about how unfair the pulling of draws was? Surely 200 people's opinion outweighing those of 190 million is WAY more unfair than Sweden's later chance at picking their draw?

SuperGirl, I'm sure if it was other way around (Sweden first in televoting and 8th or so in juries'voting) you would be whining about the result as well :)
I think people vomplain about it to force EBU to change the rules anf prevent similar situation in the future

According to my mother in law , last night results are a repeat of Sanremo. They managed to win that event only because the public adores them. I am starting to wonder if the jury have developed a pet hate...

Just checked the UK televote and I was hoping for a higher score. Never mind, I still think they were stunning and by far the best. Loved the wink from Gianluca

I still think the draw was unfair. But this is why the juries is needed. They made the running orders impact smaller.

Also there is a huge difference. The big 6 draw their halfs before the both semis last year. Suddenly that changed that this year, that's why I'm reacted. What about next year? When will the big 6 draw their halfs?? They seems to change it every year. The rules about voting have been known for longer time.

If so then why are people so mad. If the ITALIAN jury didn't want them as winners why should the international juries want it. Maybe Italy should have picked a song that was more popular with the juries?

I do not think juries make impact of running order smaller - e.g. last year Ukraine and Iceland were both higher on televoting than in jiries ranking.
Maybe it would be good to keep juries - but at the same time keep their influence lower (I mean the results could be 75% televoting and 25% juries)

The answer is quite obvious, in the Sanremo case the public vote outweighed the jury's which is only fair considering that they were by far the most popular act. ps congratulation on the win, Sweden was my second favourite , lovely staging.

I also think that the fact that many people have spent a lot of money on voting. If juries have that big influence and some people are happy about that, maybe EBU should change they influence from 50% to 100%? :)

It doesn't matter. If italian juries don't think they were best then why should the ESC juries think they are best?? Italy should think about to pick a act that is more linje by the juries next year. Did people even complain about the juries didn't like them that much in San Remo? No because they won. What a bad bunch of losers and whiners in this forum.

SuperGirl, but if every country will try to adapt to juries' preferences, we will end up with almost identical pop entries. Losers? I wonder if it was other way around, how would you react... besides of that, every year some people complain about the winner - last year it was the same. Considering that Italy was people's favourite and is winner of the televoting , and the official winner came only 3rd also contributes to this.

I complained a lot about Sanremo jury even though Il Volo won the competition! Simply because the jury was unfair! And luckily the jury in Sanremo weighted only the for 30% of the outcome, so Il Volo could manage to win anyway!

but let me understand
until last year the juries were evil because they voted songs old and boring.
STRANGELY this year there was a plebiscite for Swedish tunz tunz and have become the saviors of the country for some users?

I'm mad and disappointed :(
I saw the live reaction and that was a sure winner entry. In fact, it is by televoting only.

I would've liked Russia to win. Every year it's just Sweden Sweden Sweden.
Call it EuroMelodifestival and it will be fine.

I suspect both RAI and EBU did their good dirty job behind the scenes. Like in 1997.

That said, the ratings were a record for RAI 2. It's the most watched Eurovision after our comeback and the second most watched Eurovision after our hosting in 1991. They won't withdraw.

Yes and in ESC it's 50/50. Italy know that, so next year you need to pick an act that juries like better.
