When I watch Eurovision, I want to see and hear the whole Package inkluding the Performance.
If it was just about Music, we could all sit around a CD-Player and listen to the Studioversions.

There is a huge difference in between having it 80% about the song and 20% of the staging, or having it 80/20 the other way.

Sure nobody wants to see the singer just standing there and this day and age ESC never goes back to this, but its also stupid that nowadays "songs" get high places mostly because of dress, fireworks or dancing.

I would like to see singing playing a bigger role, but obviously I´m in minority here standing next to Salvador in a lonely corner.

Netta's semifinal performance is actually trending on youtube here in Sweden... I would NEVER believe that she could do that, on #19 atm and Eleni isn't even in the top 50? But she will probably slay the streams on Spotify when the chart from today pops up.

The only thing about the camera work I wasn't happy with yesterday was the fact that you couldn't see Pikachu and Simon Says on her "looper", if they have them displayed on it then why not show it?

Oh I love that. (And I loved Jaques' song last year!) I may have loved Salvador song and slightly dislike Israels now, but truth is he's an asshole. Even if it is the minority, there are and have been many great son gsin eurovision and he doesn't have the right to belittle it just because he won once.
