But my Top and Bottom 3 are close to each other. At ESC I would like to see Michael, and I really dont want Ivy or Natia. I even prefer Voxxclub over it because I dont want another female pop song.

Well I'm just gonna join Team Ryk because the initial version of "You and I" had potential (especially performance wise) and he's such a nice guy.

I dont think its a bad selection of songs but I find it a little average. I hoped for a great dance banger. But I am a little ... to a bit too dissappointed by Ivy. She is one of my favourite German singers and her song is super weak.

I cross my fingers for Michael Schulte, Xavier and .. Voxxclub, I cannot believe it myself. I personally think we will absolutely stand out with them, a good old schlager or Volksmusik never hurt anybody, does it? Its a great dance act, good mood, with five nice men.
Please Germany, dont send a woman this year. I think we might just be last place with them once again.

Can't decide between Michael, Ryk or Xavier.

Ryk: Has the most haunting track. I'm amazed by this composition and the new orchestral version, so dark in the first half, but then gets a little enlightened. WOW!
Michael: Has the most cheesy song, but it's so sweet. The most compassion in it.
Xavier: Just the most upcheering song for me. Imediately making me happy.

Everything I will say about Voxxclub will hurt the fandom, so I stop it. I'm surprised it's not the worst song, but that doens't make it evictable. And I fail to see many differences between Ivy and Natia. Ivy could slay, especially live, but that song leads almost nowhere.

So I hope for the three single guys. Such a sexist I am

Agree, don't get why our German friends are so harsh about the whole selection, I find the line-up interesting. Maybe it's because you guys are now used to huge flops one after another so now everything that comes is seen as tragic xD

I am german, I like half of our preselection

I just see that people can choose poorly, but that's not NDRs fault then. Not this time

Ivy Quainoo 3/10 - so underwhelmed, too inoffensive and neat :-( but I love her so much
Xavier Darcy 3/10 - Sounds like Malta 2014, another possible filler song for the Grand Final -_-
Natia Todua 2/10 - Perfect Life Part 2 Zzzzz
Michael Schulte 6/10 - A shot to the Top 10. Too boring for me but it gives me Roman Lob vibes

German snippets are such a let down! :'(
Almost all of them sound like MF rejects!
I expected extraordinary NF ….maybe in full will be better, in FDC after snippets I was so hyped and in full entries were so so..maybe in Germany will be opposite..
Ivy has RnB, i usually like RnB, but this sounds so basic, ordinary, uninspiring..
Xavier Darcy and Voxxclub sound like smth that will end 6 or 7 in a MF heat!
Michael Schulte sounds also ordinary, boring, uninspiring..
the most promising is Ryk and Natia Todua..
I quite liked these snippets..but a lot of auto tune in Natia’s voice so I really dunno what to expect here.. :/

I like two songs pretty much. It is Michaels and Natias. Natia has a really unusual and cool voice and the song is pretty decent. I have a little problem seeing this do very well, but I can at least see it above bottom 2...

Michaels though is very beautiful, and really catches my attention. This would do very well with the juries especially and would for me be the best german song since Roman Lob (even if I can see this become better than Romans personally). I really hope Germany goes for this, I am tired of them doing bad, it is time to send something really good, and "You Let Me Walk Alone" could be the song for them!

Edit: That was before I heard Ryks song, damn, that is also a very beautiful song. Two strong male ballads in the german NF, hard to judge which I like the best.

i actually quite like this selection. my favourite is definitely Michael Schulte, but there's no single song i completely dislike.

Natia's voice reminds me of some MF act A LOT but I can't remember which one now!!

I can't come up with a MF-act, but her voice is a like mixture of Cindy Lauper and Shania Twain...very cool when she is so young. But nah, she is my 3rd in this NF, behind the two male ballads.
