There is an official video made...we saw a clip of it before her performance in the NF. It seems to be just her singing while walking down a street but better than nothing:)
Not sure why they are so slow to release it though.

yeah that's what I meant

Ann Sophie posted this on Facebook: "On my way back to Hamburg. Next week you'll see what I did in Cologne today"
Soo either they shot a new video or maybe the Eurovision-postcard?!

Since she says "next week", it's probably the former. I don't suppose we are going to see the postcard so soon.
BTW, great picture! I didn't realize before how beautiful her eyes are. xheat

Why would she get a middle seat?

When I went abroad last I never got to pick my seat, they did it for me. If she got a last minute ticket then it might have been the only seats available.

Poor Ann Sophie. What does that say about her status as a celebrity? ;)

She should have thrown down her "A-list celebrity ID" down on the desk and demand an upgrade to a private jet.

Tbh, I never experienced that a German Eurovision entry got as little national attention as Ann Sophie gets atm .... "Black Smoke" has entered the charts on #29 :( I feel very sorry for her - nobody deserves such a treatment! I hope she does well in may and then I'd like to see those stupid faces

Well, does Stefan Raab promote it?
That's the answer. Because musically spoken, it is as good as the songs by Max or Roman.

All the best for our neighbors xheart

They probably keep the grudge against anything eurovision because of the way their votes were wasted in the NF.
Ann Sophie will win them over, eventually. ;)

Actually, I read almost as much insults towards her as to Kümmert -.-
We Germans can be relatively bull-headed. If we once hate something, it's pretty hard to change our opinion

I think this could be a dark horse. It hasn't really grown on me yet, but it still could. And if she gives us some attitude, she could end up on the left side of the scoreboard.

I'd really like to write something positive about Ann Sophie's participation, but I can't. Judging now, her performances at USFÖ were really weak (out of tempo, she is a little bit to theatralical etc but also the overall concept with the show being random black smokes on the screen and three fingers at the "three words" part), she shouldn't have been second after Kümmert. Black Smoke is a great song of course, but it got and will get presented wrongly.

Also she had an interview with Eurovision.de today:
- Ann Sophie does not rehearse her performance in Vienna now, but she has "some ideas" xfacepalm
- It will be a performance in the "German tradition" (everything focused on voice, not show) xfacepalm
- She wants to make the song more acoustic :|
-> If they have her standing on the stage with some random band and random black smoke in the background ... xjason

I want to believe in our entry and maybe it will end like 2009: No one has any expectations, but then they pull out something which is more or less ok. :D If they do, I think we should get a place in the top ten. If not ...

Oh, and some fancy ideas for bringing Black Smoke to the stage: :D

I think this is the first year ever, in which the German audience has less faith in their participant than the rest of Europe.

No not really - it's the same over and over again, every year.
