She's about to enter her first red carpet

Ann Sophie's surprise is that her album "Silver into Gold" is going to be released before the final of the ESC.
She said nothing about an official video for "Black Smoke" though.

Her performance at the Echo awards was vocally better but very boring to watch.
She just stand at the microphone and sang the song. No contact with the audience and only a few smiles into the camera.

If her performance in Vienna will be like that then the bookies are right when they place the song at the end of the scoreboard. :?

I hope she gets her image sorted before Vienna as she's coming across like a school secretary, and she can look so much better for sure!

Her vocals have improved a lot in the objective sense, but it also feels like she's really forcing the soul angle too much in the new video. She needs to either tone it down or make it sound more natural, because as is she's just making it all feel fake when she does that. The staging's also... kinda bland. There are some good ideas here, and I like the song, so I'm hoping it can all come together by the one performance that matters in Vienna!

I read somewhere that she didn't want to make big dance moves due to respect towards the families and friends of those who died in 4U9525 - don't know if this is true though.

I, on the other hand, like her minimalistic approach to the performance (better than in the NF, choreographically-wise). And it worked for Anouk 2 years ago.

this is so much prettier than her stage styling. She really looks young and fresh!
