Songs are so average (or even bad) this year that this one has grown on me. Top 5!

Yeah, Reason is actually better than Sometimes. But the instrumental part of Sometimes is just so epic!

Of course, my favourites are still Dream On Dreamer (from Perfect Day (US Edition)) and Ready Or Not (from Evacuate The Dancefloor) - irresistible melodies, and Natalie's vocals have never sounded better than on those tracks. :)

I'm a shameless fan and I still can't quite believe I'll get to support one of my favourite dance acts in Eurovision. My phone bill for the month of May is going to be biiiiiiiiiiiigggg

Oh yes, Dream on Dreamer is a masterpiece. One of the best hands up-tracks they ever did - although my all time favorite is still What Hurts The Most. A track I absolutely love is also Why You Had To Leave - I love that mixture of House/Eurodance sound combined with that kinda dramatic melody. The Bridge is such a killer! :)

Great song from Germany! I don't think it sounds like Euphoria at all, all 90s sounding dance songs sound similar.

I fully expect Cascada to perform near the end of the show and contend to win the televote. Unfortunately I also have a feeling the jury will purposely mark it down to prevent it from winning. I feel like the jury has an agenda just as big if not bigger then the televoters (as people always accuse them of) do.

I'm pretty sure Bulgaria's 12 points will go to Cascada, they have a huge fan base here. And although the interest around the contest this year is low in general, the news about Cascada's victory in the German NF were covered by many local media. "Glorious" will also probably be on rotation on the Bulgarian radio stations soon.

The song is growing on me. For some reason now, after the song ends I have the desire to hear it again and again and again...... :D

Was the jury at the NF national or international? Not sure if that makes a big difference. I believe that the head of the Swedish MF says he hates the song and he is the one drawing up the final draws. He will have to put Cascada near the end becaue they are too big and it would look really corrupt on his part if he didn't. However i still expect him to put them closer to the middle than the end and would be shocked if he didn't. I really don't know how the jury will vote but the televote will put Germany in the top 10 for the fourth year in a row. Making Germany best of the big 5!

They were national. And they got heavy flak in the aftermath for voting completely differently than the online- and televoters

Are you referring to Christer Bjorkman? Did he say he hated the song?

Yes I am. A few posters on other boards have stated that he has expressed his dislike for it which fanned the whole its a Euphoria ripoff. Its a bit rich coming from him of course considering the songs he allows to enter MF.

Not sue if its completely true but it has been said by multiple posters on different boards.

Oh well, he has to get over it. The EBU still has to approve the running order so he can't go too crazy. But I'm not too worried anyway. If a song is liked, it'll do well. The Grannies almost beat Loreen last year from Pos 6 (they were only 10 points behind).

Re: GERMANY 2013

It's alright for being an ESC entry... Not something I would add to my playlist. But I guess it can grow on me. I gave it 8 points (for now).

After listening to the most of the songs, I can see, that mostly ballads are on stage. This gives Cascada a big chance to do well in May.

That's really the only reason why I think it might win. In a more uptempo year this would be a flop IMO.

I don´t think, that it would flop, because of the big fanbase all around Europe. And she does well on stage. But the chances for a top result (not win) are good now.

WOOOOO!! Guess what I'll be buying on 24th March? :D

Was blasting Glorious (captured from the YouTube video, since I had to have it on my phone!) from my car stereo yesterday, and a couple of students looked over at the car nodding their head along and smiling. Of course, they might have been slagging me for the fact that I was at a set of traffic lights performing my wee heart out into the rear view mirror
