Sorry if this has already been talked about or confirmed but is there any news on what parts of the song are going to be changed to fit the 3 minute mark? I haven't heard anything on that.

I hope Germany will win this year as Cascada has a great song (it could have been better..) and if they make it like Azerbaijan that always make an amazing stage performance i think they have a great chance winning. My only concearn is the jury that might kill it. I would Eurovision in Germany again as they were really great hosts in 2011. Berlin would be nice ;)

Berlin? Never. They cannot even manage to build an airport. How are they supposed to host the ESC then?

I told one of my mates tonight that Cascada were representing Germany. He was like "Really? Well that's us f*cked again then"

Just though you'd like to know

I saw somewhere the lyrics that have been submitted to the EBU and it seems that they are cutting both verses in half. Seems like unnescessary butchering to be, but we'll see how it turns out.

We don't have to build a new concert hall for it, that's an advantage  You just have to make sure that the mayor is not involved in the planning xrofl3 But well, speculating about a win would be too much, it simply would be to good to be true if we win twice in four years...

This can win, especially since she can sing very well. Live. Not many others can do that.
See yah in Germany '14 :D

I instantly dismissed the Cascada fanbase across Europe. It doesn't always pay off when people talk about acts having existing fanbases. I also thought the song was the type of dance song that generally doesn't go down well at Eurovision. It is more Kati Wolf than it is Loreen. Now I am starting to think this could stand a decent chance of winning, just a feeling. If 2014 is in Germany, it has to be Hamburg.

For real?? That makes no sense to me! The verses won't make any sense being half the length they currently are. So long as they keep the "glo-o-o-o-o-ohh refrain, that's my fave part!

Wonder when we'll hear the Eurovision edit... ;)

The edits do seem pretty strange. The whole "live before I die.." part is for me one of the most memorable parts of the song. I just hope it still flows good. But as theditz83 said they better keep the glo-o-o-o-o-ohh refrain!

Stormy and laidback, as expected from Cascada. Just a little too ordinary for my taste though. Something is missing.

Decent.

Just my personal opinion,
I hated the live version of "What about my dreams?", it didn't have the power, the "Celine Dion-ness" of the studio version. Moreover, 4-5 fan favourites had to sing in a row in 2011 which resulted in most of them getting overlooked, and Kati Wolf was among them.
If it was sung very well, it would have been in top 5.

Why didn't they make a whole new song?
Macedonia, Belarus do it every year and EBU doesn't give a single f***. :p
I REALLY love this song, it's my favourite but I think Cascada can make an equally good song and at the same time eliminate all these allegations of plagiarism. :/

Hmm, Macedonia do it every year? (I can't recall Macedonia ever do it before this year... and then it seems they might change back to their original choice aswell...). As far as I know Belarus is the only one that really does this more or less every year... Ukraine had their moments aswell... France changed their entry in 2006, Hungary changed their entry twice in 2009  and Bulgaria changed their entry this year (but atleast it was to another one in their running and not a total new one)... other than that I can't really recall countries changing their entries?

Just go to any video of the song and see the top comments, you'll know what I mean. :p

Ummm, not obviously. Is it all the people bitching that it's supposedly like Euphoria? How bloody pathetic! Every single note is identical to Euphoria in every way. [/SARCASM]

Why are there always idiots that try to sabotage entries just because they don't like them? Just accept that it's not your bag, and move on - don't try and start malicious crap and drama about it... IOTAP

I'm sorry and thanks for your correction, I meant only Belarus. ;)
