I finally got to listen to the leaked Cascada Glorious . Nice song, but I don't get the Euphoria association. There's nothing Loreen in Cascada. As someone said, more like this:

I'm not sure what you mean. I wouldn't say Cascada nor Loreen is unique or revolutionary new genre-wise or singing-wise in any way. Loreen has a strong emotional component important for her style which BMO is lacking in Cascada vocals. Not value the other more or less though.

No, I actually wanted to carry Lalehs comment. Many people say it sounds like Euphoria, but Cascada did that kind of music long before there was Loreen. Thats just what I wanted to say

Anyhow I think you misunderstood Laleh's comment tbh.

He never said Cascada were original at all. He simple said they were here before Loreen, nothing else.

Anke, danke. Glad to hear this, may actually have to find a way to watch this NF which isn't something I normally do. Looks like Germany are gunning for the Melodifestivalen title though, especially in 2014

Not in 2013 I suppose, since it's just one show, but if they really do a multi-semis format for 2014, they could do it!

MF is overrated though, quantity doesn't directly mean quality.

Not to me, I think it's pretty good. But the German NF this year won't be as good because a single show won't have as much impact on the fans as MF as. But, as I said, it has the potential to be very good this year, and absolutely great next year.

But I can see what you mean by impact, but more semis doesn't necessarily mean a bigger impact... there are other factors needed.

Anyways we already have countries trying the "MF system" or something similar with multiple semis.
