Yeah, it looks like that satellite stage will be very small with the audience being immediately in front and behind it. This will lend itself to some major impactful crowd participation that will make this look very intimate on camera
I'm so happy for them.
However, 
odds are still dropping in the odds, can't understand why.

not being pessimistic but it's gonna be a tough race and if they win, it's gonna be by a small margin...
I see RTP giving us the 2nd spot, that would be hilarious

To be honest, I can't see RTP nor Björkman tearing apart our chances to win, as we are among the "favourites" to win the whole thing.I don't know why some people are still worried about the odds. It will be the juries and the public who ultimately decide the winner on Saturday, not a bunch of crazy gamblers who want to throw their money away
As for drawing first half, remember that 3 of the last 4 winners came from that half of the show - 2 of those 3 from spot 11 alone. I hope that MM gets anywhere from spots 10 through 13, so let's continue to be optimistic

Basically it says that Hod - Edoardo Grassi was upset after their 2nd Rehearsal : when they told them to film in a certain way, the camera goes on the other way. It's like they didn't take into account what they wrote to the production team. He said that he's gonna directly tell the production all the modifications as he did 2 years ago instead of giving notes. It's the first time he's more disappointed in a 2nd rehearsal than a 1st. They are also surprised that the staging is well received as they're not happy with it and they hope to fix everything with the last rehearsal on Wednesday. On the other hand MM are chill AF and are fine with the staging.

They should be allowed to perform an extra time besides the SF2 rehearsal.
They are not presenting a united front that is worrisome - they are divided in what will work - Hope they sort this out and go top 5 - the song deserves it.
Considering he is a total melt when it comes to staging he should pay attention to MM and the fans who are fine with it. For all we know his plans could totally ruin it. Imo it is fine as it is, nothing life changing but it's not like the song needs something elaborate. Staging has always been a weak point for France and it is clear he is behind it.
I am not worried whatsoever. I'm sure MM will deliver a solid performance when it counts the most, and I for one am glad they are not concerned with fan poll results and bookies' odds.
As for drawing first half, there is no way the producers would mess with a favorite when it comes to the final running order by placing them too early (Gabbani aside, of course, but close to the final his stock was dropping regardless). My guess is that France will be placed anywhere between slots 10 and 13 - the closer to the end of the first half the better (3 of the last 4 winners came from slots 10 and 11 respectively)

I ain't way too surprised that 'Mercy' is doing quite well in the iTunes charts too.
Amir did really well after the 2016 contest even in Canada, his song peaked #1 on the Francophone radio airplay chart and later that year he did a concert and promotion in Montreal. Maybe MM will be well received here as well
