Some say that France's odds have shortened was because of a recent victory in the Eurojury on Saturday combined with a record-breaking points win in the OGAE poll (others point to Sergey's fall during his rehearsal earlier today). Nonetheless, if Amir can really deliver a solid rehearsal on Friday, France could potentially overtake Russia for top spot with the bookies

When the Big 5 draw their halves of the final on Sunday, I hope France gets second half

I'm so afraid Amir won't be able to provide us a great performance He's charmant after all, but his movements while performing look quite amateurish and his performances weren't spot on vocally. France really needs to set up a great staging otherwise it probably won't be a win for them.

Like the song, not my number one favourite but it's nice and should be a worthy winner if performed well.

This whole situation kinda reminds me of the one we had back in 2010.
On one side we had this massively polished and over-performed song from (bookies fav till the day of the final btw) and on the other side a quite likable, young girl with a feel-good-song from
Plastic vs. Authenticity
Camp vs. Calm
BIG5 vs. Semifinalist
We all know how this ended

But even if I disliked Russian entry (i don't) i could see what ppl like about it..but in this one i really don't..meeh vocals and color of vocal not unique at all, melody boring, not so quality or unique composition..it's really overrated and I think it won't do well at all..but we will see, jury sometimes praise smth that really doesn't deserve..

You want to know what I see in this entry? I see an upbeat, positive song with a catchy chorus that instantly lodged in my mind. And when I watch Amir perform the song (either in the video or his pre-party appearances), it always seems like he's having fun on stage and enjoying the moment - and I think it will translate well on stage and resonate with the voters

once again, I could say the exact same things about you're the only one, plus old-fashioned from my point of view. I listened it I don't know how many times, asking me why people are found of it, and each time the same conclusion, I don't understand. I would have understand 10 years back but not this year. Maybe I will have a revelation during the semi or the final. I doubt but who knows...
But there's one thing I know for sure, it's the first time since 1990 that I believe my country has a good song for this contest, so go Amir and let the best win on the big day !

France's entry is very nice but I got tired of it very quickly. I'm aware, of course that the fact it may be tiresome will not affect its chances in any way as it's the first/second time that counts. I don't believe it will win though, not sure if it's because I've grown used to seeing France flop and naturally expect it once again or if it's because I don't think the song deserves it.

Point being, it has suddenly struck me this would make no fine winner and I'll be disappointed it it actually does win.
