They can't because you should judge a country based on the entry they send this year, not in the entries they sent in the last few years. If we don't like the Russian entry then we don't want it to win, what is so hard to figure out here?

But how Sweden can got double victory and two Top 3 in less of 5 years with less effort than others? *Hypocrisy mode On* - then Russia should get their reward with this year also due their effort want it or not!

The victory is decided in two parts Jury & Public, but as this year we have a new Melodifestivalen voting system let's see how will work for both!

Looking like France might do this :D It's not my favourite song this year, but I hope they do it - after the shit they've had thrown at them this past year, and over a decade of being rubbished at Eurovision, I think the least France deserves is a bit of light-hearted relief like a Eurovision win!

If Amir wins. I would like that this arena(stadium) hosts ESC 2017:

I must admit, this has grown on me a lot... Looks set for my top ten, and it'd be nice to have France win!

In Lille ?
Well it's the biggest concert hall in France but I can't imagine Eurovision not being in Bercy, Paris... BUT, you never know... They often hold events on France 2 outside because while it's quite expensive to send all the cameras and technics far from Paris, the halls are cheaper to rent.

Well this is bigger than Bercy. And France, just like Germany in 2011, can organise out of capital city because you have enough money!

I also think any other place than Paris is just a cute dream. Even if our capital doesn't truly need advertisement, it still remains the most obvious option (despite the alleged unavailability of AccorHotels Arena). It's been a long time since our last victory and with the Olympic Games 2024 in mind, I'd be surprised if they chose another location tbh (provided we're able to win, which remains to be seen).

Accor Hotel Arena is already busy all May because of the Ice Hockey World Championship in France.
So if France wins I think it will be organized somewhere in province.

Is that the Pierre Mauroy? That would a dream for a stadium that size to host ESC, but Lille might might something to say about being kicked out of their stadium.

Sorry Toinou,, but Arena 92 will not be ready, the italian compagny in charge of the roof went bankrupt, so the inauguration, planned for january 2017, is now postponed between june and september 2017.

Maybe, they will make it ready for Eurovision. It would be a nice way to open the arena.

My bet is that France wins. Why? Amir is more charming than Sergey. He is optimistic and able to pass this feeling in his performance. That's the reason why he wins. He passes positiv emotions. Sergeys performance will be energetic and - I guess - flawless, but not charming.

That's assuming the battle is just Between France and Russia, which I seriously doubt.

The thing I like Amir through watching his interviews is his humbleness and positive attitude. He said he wants to just have fun on stage and have memories that will stay with him forever, and on top of that he doesn't let his status as one of the favorites get to him - he's very grounded

I really think he deserves a good result for his country after so many years. He's got a great song, and I hope he delivers a great performance in the final
