actually i don't know if there's arenas available in Paris (with the right size of course) in May 2017. The arenas like Bercy (most likely this one) are always busy. I was joking about it last time but the closest arena available to Paris (but not in Paris) is in Lille (1h away from High Speed train) with exactly the right number of seats that ESC need. That would be so amazing to have the contest held in my city.
But I guess if they win, they will do everything they can to host it in Paris because..well it's Paris (even if Germany didn't host in Berlin)

AccorHotels Arena (new Bercy name) is booked for may 2017 for Hockey world championship, and the other arena,Arena 92 will be ready only around september 2017 (except if we do our Azerbaidjan lol). So, i think, Lille Stadium (with a retractable roof) and a concert capacity of 25.000, will be the best choice if no Paris.

But first, we have to win, and 2016 is a strong year.

The expectations are really high for France this year, but I don't think this will even be in the top 5. France is always really underrated, and I am not too sure if this will sound very good in Stockholm (I'm afraid of the last part). My bet is 8-9th place.

that would be so strange to have like the contest few kilometers away and i'm sure Martine Aubry (Mayor) will do everything she can to have the contest here.
But on a serious note: the stadium is very nice indeed to host it, i obviously think this is the best choice even if it was in an other city as well. It's very modern, the area is finished now with a lot of things to do, plenty of hotels just close to the stadium.

I'm sure Amir will rank high, i won't place any bet on him winning because i wanna see the staging first but it will be ranked, at least between 1st and 10th

France has a beautiful song this year but it does not seem like a winner to me.

If france will win, and i know they will, best choice for hosting the next eurovision is Bataclan theatre , becouse they need to show the ISIS that the free world is not afriad of them! beside, they owe that to the victims

I not against the idea but with a capacity of 1.500, is too small for eurovision.

If not Paris, what about Grenoble? The Palais des Sports arena there holds about 12,000-15,000 people, about the same as Malmo Arena in 2013

I was starting to feel alone about this  Even if I put aside my opinion about the song (which I'm not fond of), I fail to see my country challenging anyone for victory. I also guess it will end up being close to 10th position, which would be already a victory in itself for our broadcaster.

The staging may make or break us, and we have yet to see how the live performance sounds like. And by that, I mean real live vocals

Or Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille with its big amount of possible combinations - it can divided in 2 parts and it hosted both Davis Cup final (the one conquered by Switzerland thanks to Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka) in 2014 and Eurobasket 2015.

I thought he sounded pretty good on his first song and the crowd loved him. "Golden Boy" wasn't one of my favorite songs last year but Amir brought the house down with it

I loved what he did at the end of his set when he started singing a part of Poli's song and she came onstage to join him

I think that golden boy is easier to sing than j'ai cherché because it's made for a very entertainment/danc-y purpose (with two "front" back vocals). J'ai cherché reminds me of Unbroken from last year cause it begins with a heavily low key and then it builds very quickly (WHO does that really? only Whitney could do it) and so J'ai cherché has some twisted key specially at the end that are very hard to reach.

i don't know what they are planning right now for backvocals but at least 1 is necessary and if they're in total sync (i mean, that's what people are supposed to do) we won't know if he's hitting the high note or not cause his voice and her/his backvocal will blend together. They have to play it safe even if he reaches it after some training, that wouldn't be too much in the perf.

Along with the French and English versions, he will also be releasing a Spanish version called "Yo Busque". He sang a little bit of it with Barei on the streets in London yesterday
