After the first seconds I didn't like the 3 minutes version because the start was quite bad but then it got better and better. I really like the end, it's quite powerful!

Really middlie of the road... I think it might sneak into top 10 but I really doubt it, because that live performance was uninspiring mess. 4 pts.

I am sure France will work out their stage show till May, and I dont know why, but this seems to me as being a strong candidate for top 5, if everything works out on the big night. still my top 3 with italy and russia, though croatia and spain are also very good.

Speeding up the tempo will make it harder to sing. I hope that doesn't throw Amir off since he's being doing just fine vocally with the original. I also hope it doesn't limit his movements, which already looks a little shy/introverted, because he has to deal with singing it in tune xpray

If they do as good a job with the stage show this year as they did last then it should definitely be a top contender. Don't mess it up France!

Funny, cuz I'd never say he is an introverted person. In fact, his movements show to me an easy-going, laid-back person, who is enjoying himself greatly... I really find it interesting how each of us "reads" others... As for singing, I think he will work it out till May :) I am sure of it xoxoxo

Great 3 min version! I like it better now! Maybe I will even add another 2 points to reach a score of 10!! The ending is definitely better now. Even though I would of course preferred it all to be in french.
With the election of songs we have this year I think France might be looking at a very good result. Back in top 10. Top 5?

I wrote the same thing a few days ago when I said he looked laid back and at ease but too laid back and at ease and that he needed to show a bit more energy but I've been reading so much about how "blah" on stage he supposedly is that I guess it crept into my head when I was writing the post and I wrote it down  That's what reading other opinions, which happen to be the same, over and over can do to you. You get brainwashed into thinking the same

Interesting hahaha. To me he looks really a positive person, with good vibe, someone who occasionally will abuse weed for inspiration, but otherwise he is a professional guy who knows his job. People say nonsense, dont listen to them. Trust your guts hahahaha, now you know we are two who think alike, so there must be something true about him in our perception of him :)

The 3 minute version kind of... underwhelms me. Seems like I can't handle slight changes to songs that I like... Dropped 5 places. :D Anyways, I don't think it's a contender for the win. But it should get top 10.

^ Probably 10th-15th place +/-2 places. Briefly, it's good, but not that good. This is still a major improvement compared to the French entries after 2009 (the most recent respectably good French entry).

To quote Anggun's 2011 entry (albeit outside of its original context), "In my dreams, in my dreams, in my heart, in my mind." How I wish France would finally win again. xcry

ah ! that famous Anggun song and her "show à l'américaine" :p I see you haven't forgotten :p

In the odds France continues climbing every day. We have now overtaken Latvia. Australia is the next one !

Anggun participated in 2012, not in 2011.

And as much as I love this song, i don't see it making top-10. Most people ignore France even with decent entries, so i have low hopes for this one.

No true, since our last decent entry was in 2009 and we make a top 10. ;)
