Hm, I wonder whether that reporter was that black guy? I wouldn't be surprised if you confirm my suspions, cuz I've noticed that he is actually very "opinionated". On the other hand, I really like that English guy. He is a true fair-player, and looks such an honest and positive person :)

No, that wasn't him, but the tiny white guy who always holds the mic when they're sharing their thoughts in their videos :D Don't know his name. He was biased towards Aminata last year, hence why I couldn't totally bash him  At the end of the day, they're just speaking their minds like us, but there was a better way to put it than saying "ok, Slovenia can send a good song? Unexpected!" :?

Interesting, interesting. I've caught the black guy once bashing Maraaya, but he redeemed himself in my eyes when he did that super funny interview with them in Vienna. I was really laughing at all of them when watching. However, I really do not know which guy you mean now, but it is fine. As you said, also they speak out their minds at the end of the day, but still... Sometimes I'd expect more of them, since they are trying hard to be objective in reporting. From time to time, they slip, but hey, who doesn't? After all, we are all just humans.
As for Aminata, hey hey, mi amigo, we speak again the same language. I did respect her for having a great voice, but the song was really not according to my taste :) But this is the charm of ESC - you never like everything, but what you do like, you appreciate it as a pearl in your own jewelery box :)

I think this song is the best song from France in decades, and that La France has finally chosen something that could actually win the game. My absolute favorite is Australia, but I'll be very satisfied if this wins.

In decades? Patricia represented France in 2009, Invalid statement.

This. Whoever thinks that Amir's song is better than Patricia's song needs to have the own ears checked

Eh, what can I do if I dislike this kind of "music". In my opinion, Amir's song is just cheap, repetitive and generic.

I think the revamped version is much better than the original one, it sounds more striking at first listen, which is probably a good thing.

However, I still have two questions marks regarding our act :
1) Will Amir manage to sing the lyrics of the verses properly since they seem to have accelerated the pace? Besides, will he succeed in hitting the high notes during the last minute?
2) How the "You-ou-ou" choir part will sound like live? As it's allegedly the hook the song relies on, if it doesn't come out nicely live, it may have an off-putting effect on viewers. That's tricky because it may sound messy if not performed neatly. Time will tell how France 2 chose between backing vocalists and dancers xthink

The rehearsals will definitely confirm or disprove our actual potential imo.

I was just thinking this yesterday

How can an opinion be wrong?
Patricia's song is very beautiful, it's just not really my style. So I think Amir's song is still the best. You know, not everyone like the same kind of music.

I really like France this year, I'm so happy that they took it seriously and sent good, well-produced song.

My only question is the live performance. The song is great, he leads lots of youtube lists but it can be a great flop in live. The same concern for Armenia...

I love Amir and his song with all my heart. Unfortunately, I am not impressed by the live performances. If he improves his stage presence and perfects his vocals, then I think France has a big chance of winning. The songs is catchy, it has lyrics in both English and French (the language of love) and the performer is charming so it really has the capability of attracting votes from all over Europe

Viva la France!

If he improves his stage presence and perfects his vocals, then he will win IMO. Russia and Sweden will be screwed up because of juries, Australia might do not that well in the televoting. Ukraine and Croatia might do well (but I'm not convinced that the public will appreciate this kind of music) but others have no chance (I would love to see Latvia and Bulgaria winning but, let's be realistic, it is not likely to happen). France seems to be a nice song that everyone likes, and because there is no clear winner this year, I think :fr: 2016 will be new :az: 2011.
