When I discovered Amir was the French choice I was disappointed 'cause I liked the rumored song by Sasha (thank God it's not their choice 'cause she would be lost among other similiar entries) and at the beginning due to my biased opinion I was not so crazy for this song but gosh... now I'm addicted to it, it's a bangin tune and it climbed in my ranking, now it's in my top 3!!! xheat

I'm so happy 'cause I always love :fr: at Eurovision (I hated only 2010 in recent years) xheart You deserve a great results mes amis!

France televisions are so blind sometimes that i'm secretly hoping they're reading forums all over the world and they realize two things : Amir has to nail every single note on that song (and if he doesn't right now, just make him work till he reaches it) + They have to come with an incredible stage performance.

Let's bring sharks and leprochaun, virgin sacrifice, anything you want : make it memorable.

Where did you see that? We're still 6th on Oddschecker... Ukraine is 4th, yes

Now France is 4th xheart

France has to win it! If they win it and the next contest is held in Paris, then it means that I'm coming there next year to see the contest LIVE for the first time in my life xheart

Ok, now I see :D I can't believe it's that well rated at the moment.

Now everyone should pray the rehearsals won't make him go down a lot if the whole thing doesn't meet people's expectations live. I'm sure the odds will change in a significant way once we know who can pull off their songs out of a studio (France, Malta, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, etc.)

By the way, the UK can still win :D Or if Australia wins, it would be more logical to resort to you imo (rather than Germany) if the EBU doesn't want the runner-up to host. :p Hope never dies.

I never really paid attention to the authors of J'ai cherché but I realized this morning that the main author, Nazim Khaled has written these ones :

All hits in France, and a few other songs. Quite an intersting production for us !

Just the existence of this song is already a travesty.

I agree with you. Sadly I think Amir's performances are not good enough at the moment. I hope that he will improve by the end of April, because the song really has big potential to reach the hearts and minds of European (and Australian) people.

The UK can theoretically win :) However the chances of that happening are unfortunately pretty slim. You are right to point out that in case that Australia wins, the next contest might be held in the UK. After all they used to be a part of British Empire and still have Union Jack on their flag. Let's hope they will remember this, in case they win :)

I'm so happy with France this year. It reflects really well a certain part of french contemporary chanson.
