It wouldn't be the first time UMK has had crappy sound mixing for the live broadcasts... we've gotten that a few times in recent years. Either way, it's a good sign for her chances at Eurovision, where things will hopefully be put together much better!

Okay Monsters has been playing in my head almost constantly for most of this week. I'm starting to move to the direction where I think that with the correct staging we are not facing a huge disappointment this year.

I want her to hire some drag queens from RuPaul to be with her on stage. It would bring so much attention from all over the world and add to her fame.

Alright that live version sounded so much better! Less gimmicks changed the whole energy, but that choreo in the chorus.... fire the person who thought it still looks good. But now I wonder how to tackle down the problem with the numbers - the male dancers are actually quite nice, but she needs more backup singers to deliver those I ain't scared no mores. I'm afraid they won't change anyone or add more singers since those people who were on stage in the NF are probably already invested in this whole project.

Clearly this wasnt the final performance or how its gonna look like in may. The main thing is that she proved she can sing the song live flawlessly.

Nothing really revealing here tbh. We know Saara can hit the notes and deliever a good live. She still needs to dismiss her outfit designer.
btw good move to insert those Lithuanian verses, it actually sounded nice and people received well.

That's the same link I tried earlier... and as before, it's giving me about 5 seconds before freezing on a buffering screen and then either staying there or redirecting to the LRT streaming homepage. Guess I'll just wait until someone posts it on YouTube or until there's another performance.

Same issue in both Chrome and Firefox, and Edge (ew) doesn't even load anything. I've also tried using VPNs to other countries and that didn't fix it either. LRT just hates me apparently

Zobo, it takes ages to start on my mobile (using chrome). Are you able to use the slider on the bottom to bring it to 2:40? Then wait for what seems like ages (at least 3-4 minutes) without doing anything. Not sure what's up with the site since my connection is pretty fast with anything else.
There was an upload on YT yesterday but it was taken down for copyright issues within minutes.

I just found another phone video (https://youtu.be/l3-HGSZx7Qo) shot at the Finnish NF with better quality, so mad at the sound techs at Yle right now! I KNEW Saara is amazing live, but after hearing her during the live broadcast I was really worried about the song fitting her. I just hope the crap by Yle hasn't hurt her rep to the point of negatively affecting her chances at the semi and/or final.

Ah, cheers - I hadn't assumed that "wait 3-4 minutes for the video to buffer slightly" would be a necessary step Got it working now, sort of, after waiting a few minutes at 2:40:46 (it seemed to freeze at that exact point every time I tried previously). Past that, it's been a pattern of about "5 seconds song, 15 seconds buffering" for the rest of the song, so I gave up towards the end, but I could at least see that Saara was much better vocally, so I guess I got what I came for. 0/10 for streaming service optimisation though, Lithuania.
