You are right, but maybe she will improve her singing. And as far as I know, nobody from juries are ranking singing actually ( which is sad and shame, they really should! (O)T()). Remember Isaiah last year, he screamed soooo awfuly, and the juries were the ones who brought him to top 10. And he is not the only case/example of that. Btw, all contestants are talking that they will bring something NEW, even Mikolas has said that. I think they are trolling us, to be popular, what else can they bring, when there are no LEDs. It is 21st century, everything is pretty much seen already.

improve her singing? like y'all can dislike monsters or whatever but people are seriously going against facts around here. saara literally has a good voice. it's not even what matters in eurovision (confidence matters and that is why monsters in UMK was a mess), but she does anyway. she doesn't need to improve SHIT about herself. she needs to go out there and give her all and hope for the best.

I am not a fan of Saara, but I reckon she can deliever a good singing. I've learnt to embrace Monsters, despite my initial critics, it's a catchy song after all, I don't really care if it sounds dated like many people say believing that all pop songs MUST follow the current mainstream trends, that's never the case for ESC... how boring it will be! I won't mention any song to avoid off-topic discussions about those cases, but it's enough to see the Final Results of every edition in the last few years to see how many of those so-called dated songs did really well, shutting the mouth of many fortune-tellers.

That is true, she is good anyway. And as you've said the voice is not what matters the most in the contest, and that was my point, too, it is about whole performance, charisma, confidence. I don't think she is bad, the others are complaining, she is good enough. People in general are complaining about voices of every contestant here, but that is just not the only thing that matters, numberless times they will put someone with really bad voice in front of someone who has strong voice, if they just like that song more or performance, or who knows, some of their decisions were weird, not jury-typical. There is no need to worry about Saara, first semi is tough anyway, but it is possible that she will succeed, she has lot of fans and her song is good.

Monster is the anthem song for all that is wrong with pop music. The composition resembles a corpse with dazzling make-up on, that fidgets upon getting electrocuted by the beats. There is no life, that why the song is so wrong and contrived. And for the performance, they ought to take lessons from Dustin the Turkey, he did it better.
