I just can’t with all the scrutiny over Halo. Why is everyone preoccupied with perfect vocal delivery“. It’s an EDM at 145 bpm ffs

Personally, I don´t think that she needs to nail it vocally.

My problem is: She sounded very flat in the 2nd rehearsal clip.
But I´m glad that it seems that she has improved.

I still think that it will qualify, though.

I'll still be cheering on tomorrow night cos it's the boppiest of all bops and I cannot sit still when it comes on my playlist. I still think it'll qualify too, despite all the scrutiny. Shame I can't vote for it

Albania doesn’t sound great, Moldova neither. No complaints here. Everyone is obsessed with Halo flopping.

Ronela got dragged for her vocals A LOT (based on her 2nd rehearsal) to such an extent that she even wished for Eurovision week to already end to not get so many negative comments.

(she also got criticised on this forum as well - even how Norway sang).

I don´t think that fans are "obsessed with Halo flopping" at all and maybe people just care enough to not see Austria (a huge favourite) perform worse than the song itself deserved?
Also, like I said, other artists/performances get criticised as well.

But thats not how it works at all, delegations lock in what part of the song they want to be in the recap prior to the performance and then whatever happens during that time regardless of quality is put in the recap

I thought that delegations have to choose the part which will be shown as part of the recap before-hand or am I mistaken?
