I can't stand Halo any longer.. My god, the song, these vocals.. She was totally off key for like 3 minutes long. I'm all okay with Eurovision being more modern/poppy/dancy etc, but there is a minimum level for me tho..

:al: Albania - There's some hot interaction with female dancer lying on the floor. My fave part is when she touches her female dancer and she's being groped by all the male dancers xheat

:lt: Lithuania - some weird camera work in the end. The camera was behind the audience for a few seconds so all you could see was their heads. Great pose in the end.

:ua: Ukraine - it seems they added some fiery effects. And they fixed camera angles. The audience is awesome xbow A man with Ukrainian flag in the audience is crying. Very touching xhug

:nl: The Netherlands - the staging is too static for my taste, but she nailed it vocally. She will be my #3 of the night.

:md: Moldova - the audience loves them xheart They will qualify.

:at: Austria - her best vocals, even though she was a lil' bit off in the middle.

:gr: Greece - not my fave personally, but she was awesome. Consistently good vocals. The jury will love her a lot.

With all the Covid thing and then War news every half an hour on the national TV I wanna enjoy a contest free of any political **** . Sorry to say that, but Ukraine got their 1944 moment already and the hate towards other countries helped there indeed.

You mean like hate against Muslims in Crimea helped a lot? 🤣

I mean the hates towards the country we can not use the flag they have. BTW i enjoyed some people who escaped from the war who tried to beat me up at our sea side. Enough with that!

and yet televoters voted for Russia.
Do you think that it was political as well? - Like European viewers supported Putin and Russia´s invasion of Ukraine?

Or did they just like the song maybe?

Juries did not. And I’m sooo far from a Russian supporter. I’m just fed up with all those supportive people who know nothing.

They placed Russia as high as they did Maneskin (Italy) last year #5.
Out of 26 countries - I think that´s a very good score (=they heavily voted for him). "Shum" was paid more dust by the juries (compared to Russia 2016) if you compare the difference in score(s).

Russia was my #1 that year (Ukraine #2) but I don´t think that juries robbed him - his song was a very Eurovision-esque pop song - something which may have won in the late 00´s but not in the last decade, imo.

Let it go, honestly. I will not support a song only because of the country flag next to it. It’s a song contest and should stay like this. Ukraine is so far from a winning material this year and it’s actually sad for other artists that the politics are the main character this year.

Pretty sure people are able to differentiate between a song contest and politics (although I have a hard time calling brutal genocide „politics“). If Ukraine ends up winning it will be just as deserving as every winner before and after it.

Ooh I feel so sorry for you, it must have been a harder experience than being raped or massacred in Bucha or Kramatorsk or Irpin or Mariupol. 🙄

The infamous and so hated at the ESC Polina Gagarina, now also known as Zazarina, understands and shares your Weltschmerz. 🤣

I mean the contest has yet to be broadcasted and we still don't know what is the end results, why not keep an open mind first?

At the end of the day, whether Ukraine wins or not, it's just a small issue considering the grander scale of things outside the competition. Even if you believe that their win is "political", why not just treat this as a special edition of the contest?

I don't know about you, at this point in time, I don't even care who is winning. I just hope we are getting a good show.
