I still am not that blown away with the staging for the UK. Yeah a big prop, but what else? In this clip I still don't see that much to be excited about, the colours make it a bit bland as well.

But on the other hand: he has stage presence, you can tell he feels comfortable on the stage and the vocals are there.

It still screams jury top 5 or even 3 for me, but the televotes, I don't know yet.

What? Last year it literally felt like I was at a rock concert watching Måneskin, forgetting I was on my couch for 3 minutes. That is staging at it’s finest. Also the 2015 staging was perhaps the most appealing. I will say that they did Nina dirty in 2012 though
I feel like last year was really the exception. Every other year the staging felt really meh to me.

I agree about the lack of idea at staging. But unlike other artists he really does have stage presence, so it does make up! (I am still not a huge fan of the song though.)

he could have been spinning for his life during 3min on a flying chair just saying
and he would have won hands down even before the last song was done.

Tbh I could also see them placing Spain around 5th or 6th if they really wanted to test Spanish eurofans limits lol. Some other pop opener like Cyprus or Austria, followed by a couple of slower/midtempo songs, then Spain to bump the energy back up again. Barei style flop
