Not really on line with the above. Sometimes weird can turn into genius, but for me, Georgia's performance stays just weird. Not that funny as well. Juries will look the other way and I'm not sure that televoters will really go for this, but maybe I'm wrong.

:fi: Looks nicely done. Nothing really spectacular but the darkness suits The Rasmus.

:il: Irritating vocals but might get some brownie points for being technically impressive. The stage looks completely different here due to them bringing their own lights. That will help them stand out.

:rs: Striking lighting and suitable camera work. This is good and has given me some faith now in an entry I was very concerned was going to have a Conan Osiris moment. The risk is still there for that but with good staging on its side, Serbia are more in than out hopefully.

:az: The staging with this one is obviously telling a story so we'll really need to see the full thing to know if it will work and to what extent. Can't say I'm feeling what we've got now though. Not quite as pretentious as Switzerland last year, but could be close.

:ge: The psychedelic visuals are an absolute delight and totally up my alley. There's a bit of a problem though and that's the camera work. Make that camera move in ways that are as giddy and trippy as the song. There were far too many static shots and it feels awkward even at times. I have a feeling this is one of the more harmed entries here with that big black sun as well which is a real shame.

It's the song itself that disqualifies Georgia for me. It's so repetitive, for me personally it gets annoying real quick on the first listen. The best staging in the world couldn't distract me from that.

Israel didn't bring those lights, it's a feature of the stage that all delegations can use

Alesia Michelle is one of the bloggers I watch most and for me one of the most credible. In her live blog following Israel s performance she said that the stage looks beautiful and that the whole floor is Led.

I know, a second after I posted it, I took Finland out. ;) And as for Netherlands, I love the song, but am disappointed about the staging. :(

Well, if you love the song you can still root for them. ;)

And I´m confident that the whole Dutch performance will look good on the TV screen.

If it's so sincerely, I don't know why some delegations aren't using it, since the problem is the LED's not being there... 🤔🤔🤔Only Cyprus and Israel used that screen. Why in your opinion?

Would be a good time to place a bet on Azerbaijan and San Marino qualifying as both are out according to the qualification odds. Malta are quite humorously in apparently.. although actually I don't blame that mindset considering how the jury seems to celebrate Malta each year regardless.

:mt: The Amy Diamond jumped out. I almost like it. In fact, I do like it.. at least the staging part. The gold is fabulous. Now if only there was a song to go with all this snazz and sparkle. It's rehearsals so of course we can cut some slack but those vocals will need to be five times better on the night. She sounds like she's just done a marathon here.

:sm: What a showman. Fabulous! Finally this song is coming alive. Staging is a lot of fun (can't wait to see the bull in action) and Achille looks fabulous. Jury will likely do this one dirty but the public support should be enough.
