Yes, happy they're in... I guess this means Italy is still in (since RAI partly owns the San Marinese broadcaster)... there's a correlation between those two entering, 2008 was probably just a test-round for , noticed that they withdrew and came back again the same year Italy came back though...

36 of them separated into two Semifinals.
Each Semi will have 18 countries.And the half of them (9) will qualify to the Grand Final,where there will be 24 countries.

Well considering that in 1998, one of the Big 5 hosted the contest where a country in the far south-east of Europe won. There, Sweden won, only to have Denmark win there. The following year, in Denmark, Estonia won!

I'd say those maps are a bit outdated considering all the Caucasus states are now EBU members aswell, and is knocking on the door...

Because of technical developments, I'd say the EBU area is actually larger these days than what this map is showing.
