I really don't wanna say a number for participants..

Slovenia seems to be out, or i'm afraid so.
I didn't saw Serbia as a potential country to withdraw from Eurovision.
Bulgaria was a huge surprice to me, like Serbia.
Poland might not come back, but i hope so!
Moldova will most likely be in - Greece to!

I would say 36 countries to take part, but i hope for 38, because there will most likely be 2 semifinals then!

In 2015 i'm exepting to see: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Serbia and Turkey to come back!
The contest is so exiting with a lot of countries!!

I think we will have the 35 confirmed countries so far plus Greece & Poland for sure and I give chances for Slovenia & Cyprus! In total I expect 37-39 countries in Copenhagen! :)

I hope Bjorkman's happy , he's completely driving away a WHOLE part of Europe!!

We are One my ass!!

Taking it back to the old days when only Western Europe participated. Bjorkman is like a dictator, Scandinivanizing eurovision, whats the betting we see Icelands first win in 2014?

So the maximum number of participants we'll have next year is 38, in case Greece, Slovenia and Poland participate. Smallest number since 2006
And in case none of them confirm, which wouldn't be that unlikely, we'd have the smallest number since 2003! Which would probably mean a returnal of the one semi system.

Greece has just confirmed participation!
Due to the status of interim national broadcaster (HPRT) the confirmation was accompanied by a special governmental guarantee to the EBU as requested.
Legally the decisions of the interim Greek state television are automatically accepted by the upcoming new national broadcaster the establishment of which is expected very soon.Immediately when the new national broadcaster is legally established the EBU will re affirm relations with it as active member. Currently HPRT is bonded with EBU under special memorandum.

At the end of this busy last day of application for Eurovision country participants, new Greek broadcaster HPRT has announced that they will send an act to Copenhagen for 2014’s Eurovision Song Contest. This brings the number of participants up to 36.

Slovenia, on the other hand, has given an informal confirmation via 2013 participant Hanna Mancini, who tweeted earlier that Slovenia has registered to take part but will finalize the decision later on. Read what she said below:

“@RTV_Slovenija has submitted the application to participate next year on the @Eurovision 2014. But the final decision has not been made yet.” – @HannahESC2013

Greece confirmed. Oh my God, they keep participating no matter what. They are phenomenal! :)

If Poland returns and Slovenia stays, we will have 38 countries in Copenhagen.
