One day before the deadline,
and we have only 32 countries officially confirmed.
That means 13 countries in each semi,10 of them will go to the Final. :geek:

i dont think they should but....
i think thats what they are trying to do as people want them to enter so delaying there entry may make people worry and do what it takes to make them enter just a thought :D

I see, well I doubt people are that desperate to cater to them... if that's the case it's a bit similar to TRT that wanted EBU to please them and even made up that EBU would have apologized to them... when in fact that didn't happen

 to be fair i think they bring a lot of good acts to eurovision but cheating is stupid and a big ban should be put in place to stop other countries going down that route

I have to agree that strict bans should be put in place for such things, but i fear if it is then half of the participants will be banned  Nevertheless i think Azerbaijan should be made an example off. I found it hard to believe that a country who joined very late on in eurovision and didn't fit into any decent bloc would go on to be arguably the most successful eurovision country in its time participating, all top 5 places with the exception of one. I wont say their entries were terrible, because they weren't but they were not all deserving of a top 5 place, I would of rather Azerbaijan play fair and gain a respectable position, then follow this path of what obviously is blatant cheating.

true and the thing is the evidence on then is good enough for then to banned so i dont get why nothing has happened. we have video and some of the singers have over heard them talking about buying votes and i cant see bonnie and others making stuff up. but no one will do anything as you say because half the countries would probley be thrown out which would mean no contest.

No offence, but as far as bringing "lot of good acts", they simply relied on imported products, heck even their background singers + dancers + choreographers + promo teams, were all foreign and hired to to the job for them. The only thing they actually were bringing to the show were the front acts and a good amount of cash paying for... things...

The fact that a ban has never occurred sorta proves that EBU is just as involved and corrupted in all this mess.

So, if these countries don't confirm by the end of the day, they're officially out?

Well, not really. This is the deadline to confirm interest, it doesn't even have to be officially made, just as long as its confirmed for the EBU. Countries still got time to withdraw after (not sure until when though). Usually though, the countries confirming now tend to stay in if nothing extraordinary happens.
