I also want 8-10 people on stage. Come on Sweden - you can convince the EBU!

Also, potentially the biggest amount of participants next year? 19 countries so far confirmed, think that is way more than this time last year? No?

Yeah I want more people on stage, 6 feels a little empty when it comes to dance and showey numbers. I still want all vocals to be live though.

8-10 people maximum is good and ok numbers.

I want more people too. On the big stages, 6 people look very small.

Why can't the starting order be decided this way:

After semifinal 2, everyone who is qualified (even from semifinal 1) including big 5+1 countrys artists.
Someone who is standing next to a table with two bowls. She/he takes something out of the bowl: It says: Germany, she/he takes something out of the other bowl. It says: 16
Then Germany has nr 16. It should be like that :S

Actually, that could be good. They probably won't let all of them vote like that, but I personally miss it because now it's not as exciting any longer.
Yeah its very cool but it would be impossible with 40+ countries participating though

But his proposal was that some of the 40 countries countries could give out all points like that, not all of them. Maybe the big 5 + host could do that? It could add some spice to the voting without making it too long.

Also, I hope that the lack of transparency will be abolished finally, and that we get two screens with juries and televotes separately that gets combined in front of our eyes to reveal the combined points. This way people don't have to wait weeks and weeks for split votes, and it also makes it more transparent and democratic. I think the viewers simply has the right to now.

I mean in most national selections juries cast their votes seperately from televoters, and we have an insight in the voting. In ESC nothing. I'm not saying the results should be given seperately, because that would indeed take too much time, but I want the graphics to show the split votes and combine it for the viewers.

^ I used to want the on-screen combination, but now I think about it I struggle to see how it actually can be done. I think the best way would be to after the combined votes have been revealed and the 12 points cheered, briefly show the 12 points of the televote and the 12 votes of the juryvote.

I don't see the problem, you get two screens in front of you with points 1-7 (one screen with televotes results and one with juries) and then a third one appears in the middle (and the two on the sides become smaller) and you see parts of the results move from the two screens on the side to the bigger middle one creating the combined points... and then the same process when the spokesperson reveal the larger points.

Actually, it would even look kinda cool.

I'd hate for it to be Malmö (sorry Malmö-bor), because I think Sweden should be the only beneficiary from winning and we all know Copenhagen would get at least half of the revenue were it to be in Malmö. It wouldn't be fair to us, since we won and we're the ones shelling out with the money to host it.

Exactly! Copenhagen will benefit probably even more than Malmö would, because it's a larger city and people will choose their hotels there, to shop there, to go out clubbing there. The Arena is very close to Copenhagen, in fact it probably doesn't take much more time to take the train from Copenhagen to the Arena, than from Malmö City to the Arena (maybe just 10 minutes more or so).

I mean when I read those idiotic statements arguing for Malmö hosting saying that "this is a dynamic region", I want to smash those morons... I mean c'mon, are you stupid or something!? I mean yeah, it's dynamic, but Denmark will benefit from it without spending a single dime on it, while Sweden probably won't even benefit as much but pay for the whole she-bang.

Also, for other reasons stated before, Malmö is a bad choice in general.

Firstly, it's too small for such an event (and therefor Copenhagen and Denmark will benefit the most of it), also as a city I think it's a bad representation of Sweden.

Not to mention the fact that the Copenhagen airport probably has more flight destinations so that is where most people would be flying to.

Yes of course.

I mean how Swedes can argue for Malmö in economical terms, when it's actually a LOSS for us, is beyond me. Some people shouldn't be allowed to speak

Nope. You and I should be the organizer of Melodifestivalen 2013 and Eurovision 2013 since we know how it should be done! :D
