I'd hate for it to be Malmö (sorry Malmö-bor), because I think Sweden should be the only beneficiary from winning and we all know Copenhagen would get at least half of the revenue were it to be in Malmö. It wouldn't be fair to us, since we won and we're the ones shelling out with the money to host it.
Exactly! Copenhagen will benefit probably even more than Malmö would, because it's a larger city and people will choose their hotels there, to shop there, to go out clubbing there. The Arena is very close to Copenhagen, in fact it probably doesn't take much more time to take the train from Copenhagen to the Arena, than from Malmö City to the Arena (maybe just 10 minutes more or so).
I mean when I read those idiotic statements arguing for Malmö hosting saying that "this is a dynamic region", I want to smash those morons... I mean c'mon, are you stupid or something!?
I mean yeah, it's dynamic, but Denmark will benefit from it without spending a single dime on it, while Sweden probably won't even benefit as much but pay for the whole she-bang.
Also, for other reasons stated before, Malmö is a bad choice in general.
Firstly, it's too small for such an event (and therefor Copenhagen and Denmark will benefit the most of it), also as a city I think it's a bad representation of Sweden.
