Let's turn the question around: Who will win instead? Are there any alternatives? Ukraine? Norway? Russia?
No, to be realistic they are good but not "good enough" - There ain't any "this is the winner of eurovision"-feeling to these songs. So I can't really see any competitiors to Emmelie. But who knows, we had some weird results in other competitions before this and potentially and perhaps :ge: pops up like a mushroom and wins the whole crap. 2011 here we come!

There are still guys who doubt, that it wins? I don't like to say it, but now i think, it's pretty obvious that it will big time..

Win??

Oh and don't misunderstand me, this song is in my top 15, it's nice and very listenable. Yet, i don't want another runaway winner.

Im talking to people who want Denmark to win the in final. Do you want Denmark to win the final???

Yesterday night she was my second favourite after Anouk's birds but now this song became grown up more and more, I haven't listened second semi final songs yet but I believe she is going to end it very nice. Maybe Sjælland 2014? I would vote for her in final if I simply could. My best wishes are for :dk: xpray

Maybe we borrow Malmö Arena most things are cheeper in Malmö than Copenhagen  or we could put it back into Parken (2001) with the excuse: it is cheeper than in Norway

The performance was incredible. It was 5th or 6th before in my top of SF1, but it ended up 3rd yesterday behind Moldova and The Netherlands. I think it is indeed pretty possible Denmark will be our winner this year, and I would be fine with that. However, I do hope it's not a runway winner. I hope we'll have a 3-way, or even more, battle in the final!

Norway is definitely the best song in the contest. It may not win, but it is the best.

Pretty much every country in Europe is cheaper than Norway, so that wouldn't come across as a surprise to anyone.
At least we have the cheapest alcohol though. xheya

This is a great song and I am glad this qualified. It does sound quite Celtic in style and quite an interesting piece of music for Denmark. The fact that this is the hot favourite to win speaks for itself and I am sure this is going to get into top 5 at least, maybe even top 3 if it doesn't win.

It does feel like it's an old rag made from strips out of ruslana, rybak and loreen, with gallons of golden paint thrown at it.

Ok, I don't wanna sound too harsh, but I think this is the kind of song that could only make it in eurovision.

I tried to dance to it yesterday - was impossible.

The only somewhat "nice" thing about this is that it reminds me of the fairytales by H.C. Andersen. So at least it represents Denmark in some way. It's like "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" meets "The Little Match Girl".
Other than that it's just a very repetitive song with a flat melody imo.

That's because it has no real melody or rythm. It's just a very rushing affair of how many times can you blah blah blah to fit too many words into a small space.
