i can tell that the girl went to the amanda fondell school of singing. sounds like shes constantly out of breath during the verse. cute song though but far away from the quality ive come to expect from denmark, one of my all time fave eurovision countrys.

Funny you should mention quality, I think Ulrick Munter wins it all, but who ever Sweden sends to Skåne in may will not bee of the quality Im used to from Sweden

12p, nice song from Denmark. :D

But I don't really get the lyrics, how does "only teardrops" fit in everywhere?

The text in this one is very simple yet effective and understandable, it's a song about two people in relationship who always hurt each other and cannot reach a compromise:

"We're on the edge tonight
Eye for an eye, why tear each other apart
Please tell me why, why do we make it so hard
We only got ourselves to blame
Between us only teardrops"

Correct me if i'm wrong...

Aah, its meant to be "Between us only teardrops" in one sentence. Then it makes sense.. lol

If somebody ask me for stereotypic song in Eurovision I'd play this song...I'm amazed how overrated this entry is...and how year by year many eurfans like and support the same kind of music. However, considering the low level of the competition this year, I wouldn't be surprised if this cheesy and cliche song get spotted high.

Never shared the love one for this one, either. It's too generic for my liking. Granted, it's not horrible but I have a feeling we will see a lot of long face in May cause I just don't see this one doing too hot.

The more I hear it, the more I can see this in the top 5 in the final. Is your thinking it will do bad influenced by your dislike of the song, or because you actually think it will fail? No offence meant of course.

I feel the same about this song, but I think part of the excitement came because this was the first half-decent song to come out this year.

It has nothing to do with my personal dislike of the song. I'm no big fan of Norway either (the other fan favorite) but that one I have to admit may do well cause it hits the spot. Denmark had a big hype last year as well and we all know how that turned out. This song is tailored to ESC fans but I just don't think the ordinary viewer will share the love.

I still don't see the hype last year you talk about? It was fairly liked initially, hardly "hyped" in a similar way as this is though.

Wouldn't it be quite ironic though if Denmark wins the year after Sweden, just like in 2000... deja-vu indeed.

Don't you recall the conversation we had about you admitting to your short term memory and when I posted you links to the places where people going crazy over it but you were too lazy to read through it? For the first month over 50% of the votes were 12 points.

I do agree that even though my favourite is Denmark slightly over Norway, I think Norway has the better chance of victory.
