That's all I can say now. xcry1xcry1xcry1xcry1

I even asked my mum to vote for the Czech Republic and she did it for me and even liked the song. I know many Germans who wanted to vote for them. What happened, Europe, what happened???!!!!!!!!!!!!

Especially since they had a really GREAT performance... their voices, brilliant! Everything was on point, throwing the shoes didn't look awkward at all, the chemistry between them was wonderful, making goosebumps... I can't understand why this didn't pass.

I couldn't remember how the song went once it was over. Two great singers wasted on a forgettable entry I'm afraid :(

Forgettable? If you don't like the song then fair enough, but you can hardly call it forgettable.

I don't dislike it at all but yep, can't remember how it goes xcrazy which is not exactly the same as the whole thing being forgettable.

I hope Czech Republic come back next year

Yesterday it was actually even higher than Latvia or Serbia in Sweden and Belarus and I believe #13 in Czech Republic. It really looks like majority of people discovered existence of it yesterday, which only proves that ČT´s promotion was bad.

Basically, the only "extra" thing ČT did - apart from the obligatory music video and paying for tickets and hotel - was inviting Marta and Václav two times in daily show for housewives. That´s it, I´m afraid. It was also apparent on the press conferences and rehearsals that unlike other contestants, Marta and Václav were completely alone there, without the usual supportive suite of managers/producers/TV people (another sign that ČT is not ready to answer questions about our future participation) and all of their YouTube videos for fans were probably shot by Marta and Václav themselves, sometimes with help of the British gentleman from ESCKAZ. The event in Prague with The Makemakes and Karel Gott was actually organized by ÖRF.

ČT was really lucky that Marta and Václav are not self-centered divas focused on perfect looks, variety of pompous costumes and constant media attention and also that thanks to Marta who speaks 7 or 8 languages, there was no need of interpreter. But not all of Czech singers are like that and if ČT wants to continue in ESC, they should really re-think how the service for the representatives should look like.

Amen.

I'm happy how Václav took the non-qualification, congratulating other qualifiers, wishing them good luck and that he's excited to see the final live in the arena.
Quite a difference to the post-semifinal comments of Kabát in 2007 or Gipsy.cz in 2009, who were all pissing over and ridiculing the contest.

So we can conclude that after an amazing performance of a fantastic song, two lovely, kind and interesting people still have not done enough to convince Europe that they deserve a place in the Grand Final. Sometimes I just don't understand other human beings. :(

What's with the sudden giant fanwank over this entry? It was like before the non-qualification nobody cared about it, now all the finalists from semi 2 have "WHY DID THIS MAKE IT INSTEAD OF CZECH?" comments on Youtube.... i'm kinda sorry for the country for never making it, but not this particular entry, it simply wasn't good enough. Just for once the exact entries made the final that i wanted to make it, deal with it, send something better....

Their perfomance gave me goosebumps, very emotional and passionate, and the song was OK too.

Should have qualified, I can't say anything else really
