I was a bit disappointed. Seems like a great singer. And it is always sad when a good voice and a good performer isn't given better song material to work with.
I have listened to the song 4 times. I think it is quite forgettable, and the chorus us not strong enough. I have loved many ballads during the last years of Eurovision - but this is not any of them.
On the bright side: Greek lyrics (love the sound of the language) and a good performer. Worth 4 points for me.

I was sure for these reactions ("boring" etc), because people had other expectations. I had different expectations too, but this is actually Despina's style 100%. Her voice is sweet and fits to these songs more than powerful ballads. xshrug

I have had a couple of listens of this song now and I find it really quite pleasant. There are parts of the production I don't agree with, namely the beats. I suppose they add a bit of edge.. Once the violins arrive, it starts to get pretty epic without losing it's composure. I think I will overtime become quite fond of this. 8 points for now.

Cyprus is on a worrying trend. 2010 was awesome, 2011 was good, 2012 was meh and 2013...well I cant get to the end of the song without getting bored. I fear for 2014 :/

I give 8 points for now! I like it and it's not boring! I think that is the best song from all the songs that have been selected for Malmo till now! Good luck Despina! :p

first listening xbow

it is a nice song and all but i would be happier if chorus was stronger xthink

draw will have big impact on this entry, imo. also, staging could do a lot here, if the right atmosphere is created (probably something very soft, romantic but not in cheesy style xrofl2)

i must say one thing: i am very happy u sent a song in greek :D

ok, two things :this is much better than last year xsnooty

Sending a song in Greek (in a semi without Greece) is playing it risky indeed so bravo Cyprus for that!

The song is nice, but a bit boring...dunno how should I feel about this song. Doesn't sound like a qualifying material, but you never know. :) 4 pts.

IMO the best thing is that it's nothing that shouts "Eurovision" and it's 100% in the style of the singer, because trying to write a song that sounds "Eurovisionish" is the worst thing ever. Last year they did this with Ivi, they didn't give her a song that fits her style 100%, something swing-pop or teen-pop, but they gave her a dance song that was "Eurovisionish". It was a great song IMO, I loved it, but I would prefer something less "predictable" as an ESC entry.

And the most positive thing is that the song is in Greek.

Btw, 8 points from me too. Nothing wow, since Despina has better songs than this one, but still a very good song and something to be proud of.

CG, I have to say that I like more Despina Olympiou instead of Valanto Tryfonos!

It's an ok ballad, but oh so forgettable. Reminds me of San Marino's 2011 entry in that respect, harmless, pleasant song, but there's nothing there that makes you remind it as soon as it's over. I do hope they'll keep it in Greek, it's the only thing it's got going for it atm.
