I'm actually pleasantly surprised by this. It sounds great but I think it's success will really come down to how effective her ESC performance will be.

Well, Eurovision is never complete without at least two completely insignificant ballads. Who cares that it's in greek? An uninteresting song is an uninteresting song no matter what language it's in.

Honestly, now that the songs have been revealed, I think Greece and Cyprus should've just kept out this year. They won't contribute with anything anyway...

Alright, the beginning made me expect the worst, then it gets slightly better but not much. Nothing really excites me about it, seems like just another filler entry with no chance of a high placement.

Serbia is in the same semi with Cyprus ;)

Yes I know, and I am almost sure it will be points from Serbia to Cyprus in semifinal. For some reasons ppl here love Greek language and culture (and especially Greek coast :D).

Many did and want Greece and Cyprus out of eurovision this year, but let's let the whole europe to decide if we're contributing or not my dear ;)

Some people might get a lot out of the songs from Greece and Cyprus this year. I only speak for myself.
Imo the songs don't make up for all the fuss and trouble there have been with these countries' participation.

I don't see what the big deal is. Both countries were able to come up with a solution and find sponsors. In Greece's case, ERT isn't even paying anything. Maybe you don't like the songs, other certainly do. Let Europe judge for themselves in May.

Exactly! The fact that they needed to do that in the first place shows how troublesome it all was. There was also quite a lot of talk in this thread about it. Now that they were so determined to participate I would've expected something bigger, but this and greece's selection of songs are underwhelming to me. Big trouble for small reward.

I already said it was just my opinion? When I wrote that this won't contribute with anything I meant musically and artistically, because it doesn't inspire me and it has nothing to offer imo. Can I speak my mind?

This was a nice,,, eh.... lullaby? She can sing but after a day of work, it did nothing more then help me relax and almost fall asleep. However there are a bunch of songs that can do that, so nothing really special imo.

Our jury will vote for Cyprus no doubt, and probably Montenegrin jury will did the same, plus it will be some points from televoting. This song is very familiar with our traditional music, and that's the reason why ppl here like it.

I really like enjoy voice, but the song sounds a bit messy to me and it's forgetable. I like instruments. 4 points. :)

I have finally decided to give a 10 to this beautiful song xlove

Oh, and it really doesn't remind me of San Marino 2011, Despina's song is better by miles

After listening to some of her songs, I set my expectations VERY high. This song is just ok. Definitely lacks of ethnic elements.

Okay, I listened to the song again by myself without being interrupted by people and I must say it is actually a really pretty song. It'll come down to the performance and presentation cause Despina needs to put a lot of emotion into this to make it believable but I really like it, so 8 points from me.

It could be this year's "Bosnia 2012". Alot of people dismissed that song's chances of even qualifying to the final because it was more of a subtle ballad than one of those typical "big" ESC ballads, but it did decently good considering all.

I much prefer this type to those overly, often shallow, Disney-ish "dramatic" ballads we tend to get.

I can see the comparism but I personally like Cyprus better. Bosnia was good and I loved her voice but it always felt a bit too "Movie Soundtrack" to me.
