By the way, I don't know if the Giorgos Doukas twitter account is real or if someone is posing as him, but "he" tweeted today (in Greek) "And tomorrow the signatures!!! We are near...."

Tralala.gr says it is Valanto too, and mentions confirmation. But they also mention Oikotimes referral to Hatzigiannis possibly writing the song. Eurovision 2013 |

Most probably, it's not rumors that Valando & Michalis withdrew, since it's MUST Magazine that announced these news, and this magazine has very good relations with Michalis, so it's a reliable source. Now, only 4 names remain, I hope it will be Despina Olympiou.

Well it seems that Valanto and Hatzigiannis were initially chosen by CYBC, but political games by the current Cypriot president changed the decision. Respected daily Greek newspaper "Ta Nea" seems to have first published the news item. If true, what a shame....

While some colleagues hurried up to laugh and name oikotimes.com’s article (about CyBC’s decision pro Valando Tryfonos) as “inaccurate”, respected newspaper Ta Nea published an article regarding the backstage of Valando and Michalis Hatzigiannis choice for Eurovision Song Contest 2013.

The team of oikotimes.com is aware that the decision of the broadcaster was final and they were ready to make the announcement. Current President Christofias, the fame of which is in the worst rates these days, forced the broadcaster to change their minds. The reason is simple: because Michalis Hatzigiannis appeared in an event of the opposition party (you know they will soon have elections in Cyprus).

What??????????? This stupid president, apart of destroying the economy and everything that was stable before he came into power, he wants to destroy our success in ESC too? Well, in February there will be elections, and he will no longer be president, so what's his problem and until the last moment he wants to destroy even the last thing that is still in order?
