I think the audience of Eurovision and people who buy records on iTunes are completely different from each other.

So, Cyprus came up with a commercial dance song prone for the charts, but that doesn't mean it scores high in Eurovision.

Last year Jedward had the biggest commercial success, although Azerjaib...Baku won.

But Jedward got a top 10 result. Cyprus was only in #16!

From these charts show popular was our song.Juries chashed us I think and diaspora voting destroyed ustfrom a better result and top 10 or top 5.I think Cyprus was in Top 10 in televoters but diaspora voting avoid us from a better result in that category.

I just found out that the Italian and the Sammarinese jury consisted of rather old people, 50+....

So, these guys have a say, but the youth doesn't. It's no wonder that catchy songs get bummed!

According to this article: http://www.zappit.gr/default.php?pname=Article&cat_id=8&art_id=15331

CyBC will raise objection because there were many strange things happening during the televoting, like:

1) Cyprus' jury gave 0 points to Azerbaijan. How on earth it got 8 points from Cyprus? Unless it got a massive televoting support (even more than Greece), something almost impossible!
2) Many Greek & Cypriot students in the UK said that they voted for Cyprus but they didn't get any reply that their votes were counted. It is very strange that the UK gave 0 points to Cyprus.
3) How could Bulgaria gave 0 points to Cyprus, while Ivi made a very strong promotion there, being also half Bulgarian?

All this because your ties didn't work? Seriously?

I personally disagree with numbers 2 and 3, this is not the case to look for, let them wait to see the split jury and televoting results, and then talk. Because UK is not the thousands of students from Greece & Cyprus, it's so many million people, and so does Bulgaria, they had to vote for Cyprus because of that reason only?

About the points to Azerbaijan, though, something is wrong. I don't know who combines the votes, but maybe something went wrong there...
