I couldn't believe that we give 8 pts to Azerbaijan . I can't imagine somenoe in Cyprus vote for that song except of the Turks from the other side.:)

Just based on mathematics it's impossible to have 0 by the jury and to end up with 8 points in the combined vote, so maybe they are right to be suspicious. In the most cases 8 points in the combined vote are equal to at least 14 points (jury+televote). So if Azebaijan was with 0 by the jury and 12 with the televotes (highly unlikely), again 8 points from Cyprus are impossible.

well it's possible;)

if jury and televoting completely disagree;)

Hmmm, let's see:

Televoting:
12 to Greece
10 to Azerbaijan (I'll believe easier that donkeys can fly rather than another country and not Greece getting 12 of televoting)
8 to Sweden
1-7 to different countries

Juries:
1-12 to different countries than the public voted for, having in common only Greece & Sweden, or 2-3 others with lower points

Greece: 12+12= 24
Sweden: 10+8= 18
Azerbaijan: 10+0= 10

So the next country got 9 or less points from both televoting & public combined?

The following got these points from Cyprus, and my guess in the parenthesis:
Serbia 7 (maybe voted by both, like 5+4, 6+3, 7+2 etc)
Spain 6 (jury)
Russia 5 (televoting)
Albania 4 (jury)
Romania 3 (televoting)
Italy 2 (jury)
Iceland 1 (televoting)

It would be very weird if this happened!

In the same case, I also find very strange that Malta gives every year 12 points to Azerbaïdjan...

This is really fishy.... but Malta always had an odd taste music ....they even gave 12 points to Scooch....

Malta and Cyprus have something in common. Small population.
Maybe Ajerbaidjan has a lot of money to... buy votes.

Stop speculating about my country please   We are innocent I tell you!!!!!!!!!!!! If I discover a pact or something between us and Azerbaijan I will let you know though!!!

I know Ell/Nikki did a lot of promo here last year, so the 12points were expected. I know a lot of people who liked Safura's song too... but this year's 12 points is unexplicable. That one I would like to know WHY!!!!!!

I was sure our 12 were guaranteed to Sweden or Italy. In fact, I'd love to see the televoting breakdown!

Btw, when you vote for a song, don't you expect a message back to say "thank you for your vote" or "your vote has been accepted"? This year, I sent 4 sms, and I got 0 messages back! Maybe Azerbaijani hackers blocked our telephone lines so our votes not to be counted?:lol:

Of course they can!!!

They can only if they have CYTA or MTN mobile phones, and live in this side of the island because in the other side there is no signal for the legal Cypriot telecommunications. It means that most of them can't vote.

I never get a confirmation message :-(. And since I have never, EVER voted for a song for which Belgium gave a single point, I feel it is useless :-(

Ivi was in Proino Mou @ Mega TV this morning

She looks great and happy I think, and she thanked on air everyone who contributed in the whole Eurovision project of 2012, and also that she doesn't know anything about the subject with CYBC and the objection is going to raise for the voting, and that she is not interested in that subject.

When she was asked if she expected a higher position, she said that yes, she expected a higher position, but she wasn't surprised because Eurovision is unpredictable.
She was asked if she was disappointed, and she said "a little bit", also if she cried, and she said "a little bit, but mostly from the tiredness and the pressure of all these months".

She said in the end that she will have a tour around Europe!

Ivi said in an interview that she would go to ESC again, but not now. She said if she had a proposal after 2-3 years or more, she would think about it. She said about the Azerbaijani people that they were very kind and hospitable, that it was amazing that all these million people saw her, and she enjoyed it a lot, it was an amazing experience for her. She answered about all these rumors of Star Channel, that they had bad relations with Eleftheria, she said that nothing they said was true, that they went to parties together in Baku, and she doesn't understand why they were spreading such rumors for them.
