its number 17 in the average. its a classy song, i think it will make its way to the first half of the field. conchita had the same position in the odds last year.
It's outside Top 30 on oddschecker now. Conchita began in Top 20 and rose, rose and rose like what!
Yeah, too bad these guys don't have some stage props as well to "cause a reaction" as Conchita would say, otherwise they would've had the same path.
The jury vote will go all over the place, so there will be points but not too much and in televoting Austria was never a lovechild, with Conchita being the exception.
btw. Makemakes entered the charts only at #12, Conchita's new song is at #13, Andreas Kümmert is at #36 and Ann Sophie is nowhere.

conchita was not rising at all in the odds last year. i remember it well because i placed a bet on her a week before and won a lot of money ;-)
before the rehearsals began she was pending between 16 and 21, before the semifinal she was 10 and just during the semifinal she got on third position.
i dont think that the makemakes will win, but they have an emotional song which can rise with a good performance. and i think this year is really, really hard to make any predictions. i am just sure that sweden and estonia are overrated.

I don't think I have really commented on this song yet. Well, it's fantastic and I really hope Austria will do well in Vienna. Love the voice, the energy and the arrangement.

the numbers for this weeks charts dont reflect their win at the nf. in itunes they are still #3.
thats a good sign, because austrians usually dont like their own entry. remember conchita last year, she was in the charts only for two weeks in march. then reentered again after her victory.
For the performance I want the singer to look into the camera and connect with the people. In the national final he acted like "don't bother while I perform here". It's really a song which requires the performer to "use" his eyes. Conchita did a great eye job, so everyone witnessed how she was on fire and burning for her performance. Dominic Muhrer has either his eyes closed to squeeze out the high notes or stares into nowhere.
btw. Conchita never had 100/1 or worse in the odds. At the lowest point she had 40/1 and that was at the very beginning of her journey.

Austria is doing incredibly bad in the ESCNations poll, at ESCSTATS and in the comparative poll, the this estonian website does. http://www.eurovisioon.ee/eng/bigpoll2015.php
I just wonder why. I mean, it's clear, that the song is by far not one of the favorites, but THIS bad????
Could it be, that I was right and some other song I could, but won't mention now, would have made more echo and therefore would be ranked better?

I think it just doesn't appeal to the typical Eurovision fan's taste. I'm sure Austria will do reasonably to very well this May, and has good chances to crack the top 10. The jury will enjoy it, so too will more general fans of music outside of the ESC bubble. More worryingly for me is how bad Malta is doing in the big scorewiz poll that's just started. I was expecting Amber to be doing really well
Looking at that stat site though, i'm quite proud of ESCUNITED. We are the only site to place Latvia incredibly high, we're the biggest supporters of Malta and the only site with Slovenia as our number 1
We're also the only site not hyping the Netherlands

It's a song most people forgot it's there. Although there's nothing negative to say about this song.
Although JSB performed incredibly poor at the NF, I'm sad they didn't make it (with Heart of Stones). I guess we will find the voice box next in Melodifestivalen, since the Swedes are great copycats.
