Did I get too excited over this song? Why are the odds drifting? 24 to 40/1 is not bad, but I expected shorter odds. Last year Denmark was hyped like crazy and ranked #3 at the odds.

i dont really believe in the odds. so many countries in the top 10 who havent even revealed their song and last year they ignored the netherlands totally and austria was not in the top 10 before the semifinal. sweden always is ranked in the top five no matter what song they send, same with russia.......

that's true, betting odds is really not indicative until the first semifinal

anyway the makemakes are number 11 now for the final, thats not bad. still austria is not seen as a typical esc nation and i guess there not many austrians who bet at esc. and i guess some nations or record labels even have a budget for this to push their entries.

yeah, I think these odds are very political nowadays and prone to make or break a momentum for the respective songs. And then people don't vote for their favourite song but for or against someone because of the odds given.

Also it would create deliberately buzz when a "favourite" fails to achieve the final or a good placing.

I can see quality in this song, but it's so boring to me that I don't really want to listen to it again, as well as most ballads this year. But I can see juries loving this more than many others this year. 5 points.

I usually don't like this kind of songs, but I must say that I find this one very pleasant. And I can easily imagine it being played in radios everywhere.
