Perhaps the audience is but the EBU clearly isn't......for the last few years they have been pretty much telling everyone that's what they want

Well, if they succeed..... it's not the first time, that parts of a song were used for another one. The question is just - did they do it deliberately. Sometimes you've got something in your head while writing a song and you're not aware from where you have it and you really think you just invented it.
I wouldn't be to severe with them.
