6:30PM AEDT on 16/03 should be 8:30AM on 16/03 in CET, unless I'm remembering the conversion wrong. So we've got a little under four hours to go!

Okay, people are saying SBS has shown trailers for an announcement on SBS' 6:30PM World News. They don't say at which point of the show the reveal will be, though, so it could be as late as 7:30PM (the news on SBS goes for an hour).
One worrying point I've seen Aussie fans raise is that SBS Eurovision hasn't mentioned anything about our reveal yet on their Twitter, and there are rumours that Guy was still in the recording studios this morning. Perhaps they're cutting it as close as possible to the deadline & still mixing and mastering a new song, and it may not be ready by the news time so they don't want to promise anything? Either that, or they're just being incredibly lazy.

I wouldn't be surprised if they came up with a completely new song. I mean, I don't think they have to provide the three minute version just yet if I'm not mistaken. Il Volo's video on eurovision.tv is 3:43 minutes long.

I think it has just come right down to the wire!
Australia only got the nod from Eurovision that we were accepted as a competing country mid February 2015.
Australia had to go through a selection process as to who they were sending and they announced it on 5 March - that has given Guy Sebastian 15 days to trim down to 3mins an existing song off his Madness album or write a brand new song for Eurovision.
It is all a bit nerve wracking!

Definitely sounds like your typical uptempo Guy Sebastian song. But I like this one.
I think this will sound better live. Regarding results at ESC, I'm feeling Italy 2011 vibes with this.
