Eh, I'm happy enough. It won't win, and it probably won't make it into my top 10, but it's catchy, it'll stand out and it won't be an embarassment. Not a bad job! Probably going to give it a 6 or a 7 for now, though it could grow.

I really wanted to like Australia's entry.......... :?

And I doxheat Gosh, the UK should have entered a song like this. It's pretty embarrassing how our pop funk/soul artists are ruling the world at the moment, Australia joins Eurovision as a one off and sends something so of the moment that we could have done ourselves all these years. Australia is going to come top 5 with this. It's catchy as hell. I just played it the one time but I can still hear it in my head as i'm typing this message now. It's not an annoying song also, nor is it repetitive. It's really great. Wow, thank you Australia for this. To tell you the truth, I wasn't expecting much from your artist but for like the third or fourth time this year, my low expectations for an artist have been proved incorrect. I should have had faith. 10 points!

I wasn't really sure about Australia participating, I was worried about their approach on Eurovision, but now I'm sure I want to take a rope, tie them to ESC and make sure they won't leave. This is so modern, a bit alien to Eurovision in some moments, but definitely something that is missing. It is the type of song that gives me hope:we're still in 2015, I'm not wrong.

It is good song. The funny thing is, that it sounds not European, what is no wonder of course. But you might think, that this shouldn't be the case given the variarty of songs we hear every year. But somehow this is still all European style and this song sounds more American than European. So this is defenitely a new element in the show.

Or am I just made this up in my mind. I cannot say for sure.

This is going to be a hit all right.

Not sure how I feel about the song just yet, but this song would go straight to the airplay lists of roughly every mainstream channel if, say, Maroon 5 was performing it. I think they'll pick this up at some point, even if it does seem quite unlikely that Australia would win Eurovision.

i expected a song like this.....
could be a top 5 song, but i dont think they will win
this year everything will depend again on the live performances, no clear winner

I fairly imagine Australia getting a top 10 with this song. After all, they're invited to hear Australia pronounced by at least one spokesperson ^^.
The chorus is not my cup of tea but it ios the typical song that can appeal to a large audience.
The season of the song release ends pretty beautifully.

I'M SO HAPPY! I apologise for not being very active here, I'm no good with forums anymore lol... This is what I wrote on the YouTube video, so I'm re-posting that comment here:
I'm SO happy with this song choice, it really encompasses what Guy's music is all about - funk, soul and pop. It also showcases his gorgeous voice. I very much doubt we will win (imagine the outrage haha) but it would be awesome to make the Top 10. Good luck, Guy, Australia is behind you, and hopefully some parts of Europe as well :p

So yeah! Guy is a great performer and I have no doubt he will sing well on stage. I will be so nervous! I think he could possibly make the Top 10. That will keep Australian fans happy and all the haters happy too :p

The song is stuck in my head and I only listened to it once, so that's a good sign.

Interesting reading the comments here, quite mixed! This is not a winning song but I don't want Australia to win. I just feel honoured we get to participate at all.

10 points, it's a very good catchy song... reminds me of Olly Murs! It will definitely be in the top 10.

I like it, it's actually a good song! Catchy, fresh and finally something who has the right sound to be on the radio nowadays (not the fake electro-swing from UK that according to the singers is the most popular in the music at this time :?).
