A challenge for all drivers with tight hairpins, and unpredictable weather! Let's see who came out on top in the opening race of the championship...

ROUND 2 IN RAHASIA-DIATI
One of the shortest circuits on the calendar, but certainly not short on drama - Sultana has already lost the lead of the championship with a dominant victory from Milos!!

I was ready, then I had a couple of sudden phone calls, but I'm here now. Go #21!

ROUND 3 IN UNITED KINGDOM OF DESTRION
The only track with a banked curve, and it certainly added some highlight replays for the show reel at the end of this season - Sultana mounted the wall and almost entered the crowd, bringing out the red flag on the 2nd lap! And it was Aditya that took advantage to lead a dominant second half of the GP and grab their first victory.

ROUND 4 IN CARPENTARIA
Hot on the heels of a victory in Destrion, Aditya's home race has always favoured those that can cope well with the high on-track temperatures and unpredictable wind gusts on the roller-coaster pit straight - people like marduk and Kimrt who fought each other hard all race, before Vermilion snatched the win on the closing lap!

ROUND 5 IN EMSFRYNT
A temporary street circuit in the park is always going to be a challenge for the drivers, and the 5 Safety Cars that we saw in round 5 was certainly par for the course in Emsfrynt! But theditz83 masterfully found a route through the mess with a great pitstop strategy and a stellar drive - but it wasn't perfect, Kimrt grabbed fastest lap in the dying laps as he finished just 3 seconds behind...

ROUND 6 IN AFNIA
One of the classic legacy tracks that is a favourite for all drivers, and this race was one of the ages! It had everything - a gospel-choir national anthem on the grid, 4 leaders in the first 4 laps, and even 3 showers that led to some slippery conditions for everyone. A few key drivers slid into the gravel traps, but it was those Sliding Horespowered Boosters on the back of Barish's car that made the difference.... pretty sure the FIA will be reviewing footage to decide whether they're actually legal.......

ROUND 7 IN PYREICA
A fake marina? CHECK! An awkward chicane under a freeway off-ramp? DOUBLE-CHECK! Not the prettiest track on the championship, but this round always throws up some surprise results, and this race was no exception. After taking the lead in the championship last edition, theditz83 blow his engine on only the third lap, and Kimrt and Leydan jumped at the chance to enter the fight for the top spot. Things are heating up

ROUND 8 IN MARCOBIA
We arrived in Marcobia to rain, and it didn't really stop all weekend. A delayed start due to a waterlogged track really played on the driver's nerves, and you could tell when they finally took to the circuit that the extra time to overthink strategy had really messed with some driver's minds. But Destroyer and marduk kept cool heads and drove measured and assured races, to finish almost 45 seconds ahead of the rest of the field. We have yet another new championship leader!!

ROUND 9 IN KIMMYSTAN
Returning to the championship and really bringing the glitz and glam with the mandatory driver stage intro an hour before the race, this race was all about the razmatazz!! And it saw a triumphant return to form of Leydan, leading a masterful race overtaking from 4th on the grid to lead the race from Lap 5 until the end - what a performance!
