There's another christmas market, called Schlachtezauber build up next to the river:

This year they built up some kind of "Middle Ages" market there, so the stalls are designed in Middle Ages style, the sellers wear Middle Ages clothes and there is sold typical middle ages stuff. It's very good idea in my opinion

I will look through this ENTIRE thread properly later (bedtime now) but I wanted to share a few pics of my hometown. :3

This is Adelaide, Australia, capital city of South Australia, population approximately 1.3 million.
Renowned for its festivals, premium food & wine, heritage buildings, and proximity to beautiful beaches and the Adelaide Hills. Not sure if there is anybody else here hailing from Adelaide? :)

Mimoliin, Karlstad looks SO beautiful :3

southernstars So does Adelaide! Don't think I've ever seen/heard anything about the city (apart from its name) prior to today... But it looks amazeballs!

Sydney, :au:. I assume most of you have heard of it.

Try and hold your breath while driving across the Harbour Bridge - it's almost a Sydney tradition. :D

Kaz, I love visiting Sydney, soooo many things to do and I love the vibe! I was there for a week in February last year. My friend and I had a great time, we did all the touristy things. Apart from Madame Tassauds and Taronga Zoo, I LOVED the markets at The Rocks! Fantastic :D And yes, I've definitely heard about the holding breath tradition haha :p

My home country is an old medieval city. One of the smallest "big" cities in Belgium. its story is interesting cause it was the first capital city of France but some wars in the south forced the "king" to move down to… Paris. Then when the country declared its independence the city was a part of nowadays Belgium (with the oldest belfry of the country).
