I moved last year to California so I should introduce my new home to you all. It's not like you never heard of it but nevertheless.....

This is where I work (Downtown L.A.). My office is the second one from the left (the shorter building next to the one with the reflection of the sunset)

I live in Long Beach though which is South of L.A. It's smaller (popuplation 500.000) and having a beach right next to your house is pretty awesome.

This is downtown Long Beach at night

In Esslingen, there are a lot of frame houses, which were partly built in 13th century - So there are also a lot of legends about a few houses, something like "Das schwarze Männchen" (The black little man).

What I mean is if you asked me what Germany looks like, Id say like that :D
Some countries just have a distinctive architecture where you know for sure even after just a quick look that it is that country, Germany is one of them ;)

I was born in Arezzo, Italy but my family moved to London when I was 4 so I don't remember a lot. Plus now I live in the USA.
