Those pics of Sarajevo are beautiful, but when you come there, a lot of other things can make you don't like it; like transport, traffic, criminal...

I'm everyday there, and borng city btw. haha :D

What about Tartu, Estonia. It's the second largest city in Estonia. It's known for Estonia's oldest university.
Some pictures I have taken:

A satellite view of the European quarter of Brussels. You can see the big European Parliament building in the top-left part of the picture, further to the right, a bit lower, you can see the Berlaymont building and its distinctive 'starfish' appearance. That's where the European Commission holds its offices.

The big parc in the centre is the "Cinquantenaire", where the official parades used to take place (they now take place next to the Royal Palace, not on the picture) and where the Cinquantenaire Arch (to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Belgium) is located.

Here's the Cinquantenaire, which I always thought was like a baby-Brandenburg gate xD.

That's to start! More later!

Actually I came back from Berlin after a short stay and the Cinquantenaire arch is actually a bit bigger than the Brandenburg Gate! That surprised me...

Here are a few other landmarks of Brussels:

Palace_of_Justice_postcard.jpg

800px-Palais_de_Justice_from_Hilton.jpg

The monstruous Palace of Justice. When it was built, it was the biggest building in Europe by internal volume and it remains the biggest building built during the 19th century. It's still the biggest Justice Palace in the world I think. The thing is falling apart however, due to poor maintenance and the sheer massiveness of the structure. Its conception was due to our "Builder King", Leopold II, who is more famous for the atrocities he permitted in the Congo Free State than for his numerous architectural achievements in Belgium.

bruxelles_avenue_louise_et_blue_towe_n2.jpg

The 'Avenue Louise/Louisalaan' is a major thoroughfare running through the more affluent neighbourhoods of Brussels, with 19th century houses lined up among the various hotels and office spaces.
