I like Ústí nad Labem. Post-industrial towns may not be the prettiest, but they're very inspiring IMO, and that bridge is beautiful. And the houses too!
Now let me share pictures I took of Brussels last September! Brussels too is often derided as being ugly, which is not entirely incorrect if you look at some corners of the city... But still, I love it
.
This is the Place de la Bourse / Beursplein. The heart of the city, where people usually meet before they go out in the many restaurants, cafés and nightclubs in the vicinity. It's right next to the Grand'Place.
There's a parking lot right in the centre of Brussels, called Parking 58 (built for the World E
bition of that year). It's quite high and it gives a great view of the whole city surrounding it. You can see here the Grand'Place Town Hall (the tower), Palais de Justice, the Royal Palace, and the Atomium among others.
This is Place Sainte-Catherine where all the seafood restaurants are. In the winter, this is where the Christmas Market takes place.
Place Saint-Géry is a great place to hang out, with bars all around an old warehouse transformed into a very hype café and e
bition space.
