1. 4 of the pre-qualified countries will finish 20th or lower.
2. UK will place highest of the big 5.
3. Sweden will win in a landslide, which will be apparent from the very start when the first country (some random Southeastern European country like Moldova) will give it 7 pts.
4. Russia will only get 12 points once.
5. 7 countries will miss the final because of the juries.

1. Moldova qualifies easily
2. Iceland fails to qualify, mainly because of juries
3. Televoters have Hungary in their sf1 top10, but it gets killed by the juries
4. Ireland, Romania, Georgia and Lithuania all finish in top10
5. One of Czech/Portugal/Switzerland pulls out a shock qual

:cz: qualifying wouldn't be shocking though...

More predictions:

- Greece and Romania will qualify, but they'll end in the right side of the board.
- Russia will finish 4th or 5th in the final. They will also receive 3 sets of 12 points: from Belarus, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Australia won't award any points to Russia.
- Moldova or FYR Macedonia will be last in semi final 1.
- San Marino will be last in semi final 2.

And finally the most daring, out-of-the-box predictions:
- Armenia and Azerbaijan won't exchange any points.
- Cyprus will give 12 points to Greece in the final. (assuming Greece qualifies and Cyprus doesn't).

5 more.

1. :mk: will perform with an insane gimmick where leaves actually fall onto the stage, therefore qualifying. Daniel then drowns in leaves and the qualification is awarded to whoever places 11th.
2. At least 1 of the 7 automatic qualifiers will finish in a ranking equal to the position they performed in. (e.g. :at: performs 14th, places 14th.)
3. Despite the Baltics all sending great songs this year, only 2 of them qualify.
4. Neither :il: nor :cz: qualify, causing both of them to withdraw next year.
5. :by: will be a dark horse and finish on the left side of the leaderboard.

Slovenia will get its best result ever receiving 12 points from various countries.

Neither Serbia, nor Montenegro, nor Macedonia will give 12 points to Slovenia.

In the televoting, Finland will be in the top 5 but the juries will rank it outside the top 10.

The Israeli spokesperson will wear a bow tie and will get lots of cheers for saying something in German.

Poland will feature background dancers in wheelchairs and will qualify.

Bonus prediction:

Hmm, let's see… I will predict:

Iceland gets the best result of the Nordic countries.
Lithuania gets the best result of the Baltic countries.
Ireland finishes 11th in the semi, missing out by 1 point.
Israel finishes last with 3 points in the final.
Finland does better with juries than with televoting.

I wouldn't be totally opposed to any of this, especially the first. xheat

Nice topic, Gre, and lots of good/wild predictions so far. Here I go:

- Sweden will be a runaway winner and will overtake Rybak and Loreen.

- Fan favourites Slovenia and Estonia will be top 5

- Italy will finish out of top 10, around 15th

- Finland will be last in their semi

- Ireland will be top 10

Just realised I've written sort of a wish list as I would be happy with it. So of course it is not gonna happen

1: :ee:
2: :it:
3: :au:
4: :se:
5: :sl:

The juries' top 5 will look slightly different:

1: :it:
2: :ee:
3: :au:
4: :al:
5:

hmmm..
1. Trijintje will perform under her new name "Little Train"
2. Russia will end last in the first semi-final
3. Portugal, Switzerland, Cyprus, San Marino and Czech Republic will occupy the top5 positions in the semi final, and possibly enter the top10 in the final, whereas Sweden will barely qualify as 10th.
4. Conchita will be seen in the green room lifting weights and drinking Amstel from a can.
5. Eva Novodomsky will be very bubbly and joyful announcing the votes from Hungary! xheart

If you want some ballzy predictions:
1. At least one of Greece or Romania will fail to qualify in the first semi
2. Spain will not end in the top15
3. Norway will either flop in the final (a mid-table result) or not qualify
4. Macedonia will be top5 with the juries in the first semi final, while Armenia will be top5 with the televoters in the first semi final
5. San Marino will definitely not end last in the second semi!
Bonus#: Italy will most likely win

1. Conchita will make a point to talk to the countries that did not give her any points last year.
2. :ru: will not get :am:'s 12 points, :ge: will get that instead.
3. More booing for countries that give votes to :ru:
4. Belarus will do a lot better than people expect and Belgium will narrowly win.
5. A combined total of 4 countries will be held back from the final due to televoter-jury discrepencies.

Would not surprise me - I kind of thought that she had 24 points darn close to in the bag from Armenia and Russia.

Here are my predictions:

tumblr_mqu7aaiFEE1rl1a4zo1_500.gif

Slovenia will come 2nd in the final
The UK will finish top 10, despite not going well with juries
Russia will finish TOP 5
Norway will be the shock non-qualifiers of 2015. Estonia will qualify but does worse than expected barely making top 10.
Armenia will do far better than many expect them to
