WV Spin-Off #31: Songs from National Finals | Confirmation Thread (DDL: 17/08 @ 23:59 CET)

Our WorldVision spin-off travels take us to the Far East and one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world: Tokyo. For our 31st spin-off, we will celebrate the songs that competed in the national finals at the Eurovision Song Contest, but never reached the goal of representing their nation

THE RULES
* Any song from any country that has participated in a national final but did not win is eligible
* All years welcome (it would be great to see a diverse range of songs from across the decades)
* Live versions or studio versions of the songs are both acceptable
* Regions of countries are welcome (it would help to know which country that region is from)
* For those that need assistance, the National Finals Homepage is a good reference point
* If interested, a Live Listening will be held after the show has been posted. Date will be TBA depending on availability
* Most of all, have fun!

I want to send the studio version of the song I have in mind, not because there isn't a good quality live performance, but more for the fact that the song sounded rubbish live on the night and the studio version is like 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times better

Are we allowed to send the songs from the NF held in the year that a country didn't participate in ESC? As in we held a NF and there was a scandal with jury voting so we decided not to go to Eurovision that year at all...
