uhm if they tie with Ghana tonight they are certanlly not 1st and if Serbia wins tonight in that case they are out
but I still think they are winning tonight! they are one of my top 3 faves this year...

Congratulations to England and USA, though I'm really sad for Slovenia. It had to be such a shock not qualifying after USA goal in the last minute

Booooohooo, would've been cool if Serbia had managed to equalize. Sadly that didn't happen. I feel sorry for Serbia (and Australia).

On the other hand Ghana played a good match against Germany. They blew gazillions of big chances however, so after all it was probably a deserved victory for Germany. I still haven't figured out why the African teams struggle so much to convert 100% chances into goals. Ghana really needs to be more cold-blooded in front of goal when they meet USA in the next round.

Oooh yes, I'm looking forward to Germany-England. Gonna be hell of a match. :twisted: :twisted:

So, England vs. Germany in the 1/8-finals. The English team better makes German sausages out of the German squad lead by Khadira and Marin.
Ghana vs. USA, well Ghana will advance in the 1/4 final for sure. Last World Cup they defeated them, so I should expect Ghana to go further and more. Ghana can hit on Uruguay or South Korea and reach the 1/2-final.
As I thought, Serbia underestimated Australia and lost the game. I thought Serbia will tie, but at the end they lost. Anyway, the two strongest teams advanced in group D.


For tomorrow's games:
Italy - Slovakia 2:0
New Zealand - Paraguay 1:2
Denmark - Japan 0:0
Netherlands - Cameroon 4:2
