Trivia of the day
Hello guys, this post was originally destined for updates about the ongoing rehearsals:
Hildegard von Blingin' (Oussou Empire),
BLACKPINK & Selena Gomez (Kimmystan),
Erika Vikman (Moisantia) and
Tim Chadwick (Tamausia & Deltannor) all rehearsed this morning. Vikman had a wardrobe malfunction and I heard her say she will change her outfit for her second rehearsal. Regarding BLACKPINK, there were lots of talks about the camera work, apparently there were too many wide shots and the angles did not do justice to the mood of their entry.

Today should have seen a special announcement regarding the Tybaltevan representative. The whole team had waited for the music video - recently shot in
Kralingslæting,
Griffin Empire - to present our next participant, but it seems the director lost most of the scenes during the editing process, so the announcement is postponed until a solution is found.

No, what overshadowed everything else today is the news that came out late last night.
Kamandéan broadcaster KAOS 1 twitted they were considering participating in the current edition. I received the application by mail myself and it seems all the documents and information required were provided... I really don't know what to think of this tbh.
Here is the entry they officially submitted: a 14-minute song called "A Theater of Dimensions" by Kamandéan metal band "Xandria".
But it is not I who decides what to think or do, my superiors will call the TYBC director and our King will be informed.
The media already took on the subject and they have decided what that move meant before our institutions even examined the news.
This an uncomfortable situation for us Tybaltevans: by law, Kamandéans are banned from entering our country and the current political atmosphere between our respective leaders isn't the best, as you can tell.
And yet, the news has spread like wildfire, so we will have to take a stand: either we allow them to take part to comply with the contest's rules and our King's influence will suffer a major blow both internationally and within our borders, OR we do prevent them from joining somehow but there are no official means to do so in the WLSC regulations. Not to mention international pressure would be ruthless.
Whatever happens, it will be unprecedented. I already sense it will make a splash.

Neither Ernman nor her government have issued an official statement about the whole situation, yet lots of Tybaltevan internet users think one of her last tweets is cynical mocking directed at us. I will let you all judge by yourselves.
Kamandé will be added to the provisional list of confirmed countries until our leaders speak about the matter.
Here is what I could tell you about that as of now, the only certain thing is: to be continued...
Sincerely yours,
Tuorem
