I think these four songs are on the run:
Estonia: the general favourite. (Could be ok if it wins)
Slovenia: is the outsider and could do surprisingly well. (Also my favourite).
Azerbaijan: I like other songs more than this but I have a feeling it will have most of the appeal in the Eastern block and earn lots of points, even because it sounds objectively good too.
Italy: another outsider. May win, though I wouldn't be much enthusiastic about it.

As for Sweden... no, I don't think it's the right song for this year's Eurovision. I can' let go the idea of listening to a bad copy of any David Guetta production in the last four years.

I have a feeling :sl: and I'm not incredibly happy to say this,to be honest. A lot of people see :be: as a winner. Is it just me who thinks the guy will fail drastically the expectations? I like their entry, I'm really curious about the live.

This year is SO predictable.
2013 all over again.
We knew Denmark would win, 4 mothns before the contest.
Same story this year!

And I hate that. Hopefully you are wrong.

:ee:, even though it's not in my top 10. Would prefer something cooler like :ge: winning, though.

This is the best recap for this edition.
You can watch all the 40 entries in HQ, and with the running order for those who are in the Semifinals.
Also it has a nice beginning & closing.

I have put my money on :ee:. It feels like a rather safe bet. I think GTY will appeal both to the televoters and definitely to the juries. I also think it will have a pan-european appeal. For me it was intstant love when I heard the song for the first time. And I actually believe my personal favourite will win this year!

:it: is mentionad quite often. If ESC was a Mediterranean competition only I would have put my money on Italy. I have the feeling that the countries of southern Europe will put Italy as their winner. But I dont think Il Volo's style will make enough of an impact in the northern regions. It is my personal number 2, but I would be surprised if Italy gets more than just a few points from Norway. Sadly enough.

Another favourite is :se:. I am sure they will get a top 5. The show and Måns is good. But I dont think the song itself is strong enough to go all the way. And not instant enough. But being one of the few up-tempo favourites - will give it a boost.

:sl: is looking to get their best result. But how hight up will this end? I think this is another candidate for the trophy. The girl can sing! Her voice will make her stand out. And I think this another entry that will do well in all the european regions.

I would also like to mention :au: as one of the serious contenders. I think most televoters will like the fact that Australia is joining the party!! I think this will get them extra televotes. The singer will probably deliver on stage, the song sounds genuine, a modern sound - and it's rather instant!! I also think the juries will like this! And yes - I also did put some money on the country Down Under...

We will see, I must say that I don´t think "Heroes" is winning material (nice Picture you found) ;)

Well, it is winning material, because it has the...X-factor of Eurovision. The "package" as we say here in Greece.
But at least let the victory be something similar to Emmelies, because many people say that it will be something like Loreen's or Rybak's victories.

On the other hand, you maybe are right, he has a performance that people will remember (the Little paperhat guy) and a ok song. But I´m humble, if we reach top 10 or top 5, I will be happy and satisfied

Do you mean, a mediocre winner that after couple of days nobody will even remember? If Sweden wins this year, I belive that would be the case.

I think you will be very happy then! I predict top 5. But as you said; the song is still not much more than ok or good. There are better songs participating this year. And there are more instant up-tempo songs (Australia imo).
But the whole package will be enough to bring another very good result for Sweden. We all know that Sweden are taking this serious, and we dont need to fear a lame live presentation.

TBH any song/artist from this year wpuld be a forgettable winner after a couple of days, even those I like ... except Finland ofc. but that's not going to happen.
