Anyway that might very well happen, Sweden can win with the advantage the staging will give. In a close year the staging is essential. I'm hoping Estonia, Slovenia, Norway or Latvia (I do believe Latvia is a possible winner) can win though, and I'd prefer Italy winning over Sweden.

I've been thinking about the staging and with the technology their using and I wonder what the other countries will do. Everyone free to use it and doing their own thing may make the Swedish gnomes look not as impressive as it would have if they were the only ones doing something as advanced looking xshrug

One hopes that everyone is free to use the technology and its not just for in between the songs and interval. It would take away the advantage Sweden has and they would have to compete on the same field as everyone else

You really have something against us, I get that you don't like our song but come on, advantage?! It's not like we are the only ones that are allowed to use the stage and all that, it sounds on you that all other countries have to perform in complete darkness

These people talk of Sweden's staging like it's some kind of device from hell, when it's not. The only real difference between Sweden and other countries is that they show off their staging beforehand, in the NF. The other countries are free to do as they like, depending on their budget, their willingness, their skills and their imagination. Mostly they keep it a secret anyway. Not long to wait now ;)

I think we need to wait for the rehearsals. Currently Sweden is leading because their staging is known and because the country is traditionally successful and popular with the fans. After we will have seen the staging of the other countries, we will know, if Sweden really has something outstanding this year. If other countries had great ideas for their staging too, Sweden's odds will probably drift.

All these numbers from Spotify and similar services don't have much relevance. The Swedes listen to the Swedish song, not the rest of Europe. ;)

You all need to remember all the hype last year about Armenia and Sweden three weeks before ESC 2014....no-one was talking of Austria and the Netherlands came about 17th in the OGAE vote.......

I have a funny feeling that Norway will do a lot better than most people think......

So the song has NOTHING to do with us being favorites at all?

I know that the staging is a big thing of course but we wouldn´t be so high in the odds only because of a staging if the song had been very very very weak. I wonder why all you people didn´t cried your eyes out last year when Sanna had the same performance as in MF.

If something has been very successfull in a preselection, you usually don´t change anything at all, (especially not in this case)

It´s like taking your best players in a football team out for a few games and naive think it won´t matter.

Either way, we won´t win, :it: will take it

Spotify is nothing to take seriously, most countries don´t even have it

Not because of that, it was more crying over the song "our song sucked" "Sanna can´t sing" "this will flop"

It´s quite obvious some people are really desperate to find something wrong in our entry this year, of course they are allowed to not like it but it would be nice if they could find a bit more realistic things to mark on than "we have an advantage"

Better get used to it - people will ALWAYS find something to moan. You shouldn't care at all... You know that the song is good -That's all that matters. :D

I think Sweden has a good song and Sweden is also in my top 10. Actually, I have recently upgraded it from 1 point to 2 points. ;)

I just don't think it's the best song this year and if the song came from Slovenia and had a staging like the staging we have seen so far from Slovenia, it would not be a favorite to win. It's the favorite because of the staging and because it's Sweden.

I think Sweden winning is more likely than Italy winning, though.

btw, where is SuperGirl?

Shouldn't she be here now complaining about everyone hating on Sweden?

Well, maybe she is paralyzed by anger or too furious to type... xshrug

This would be my perfect top 3:

:it:
:cz:
:es:

But I don't think it will happen, Czech Republic won't earn the silver medal (I hope at least they qualify for the final) and Spain the bronze medal, however I still think Italy will win.

This is really what I think is going to happen:

:it:
:ru: (Miroslav getting booed in 3, 2, 1..) Yes, keep this message, I am fully convinced, the most overrated song by jurors, and of course a top 5 in televoting results.

Still waiting for an explain why we did so bad in 2007-2010 then?

But back on topic, :it: is the winner

We don't know who will win yet, and at the moment the hot favorite is Sweden.

I guess sometimes even Billy misses a screw. ;)

I would say it's possible but unlikely. It will not win the televote and the jury will not unanimously fall in love with it either.

I will stop with my shit if all persons that don´t like our entry begins to come with realistic opinions about why our song will fail ;)

DaFlo: hahaha, very funny, I really laugh my ass off now
